“Huh! Don't talk about him anymore!” grunt Willie cold.
Meanwhile, Gerald had already arrived home. His anger towards Willie has made the trip feel much shorter.
It appears that there were several cars parked in front of Mr.'s house. Winters. Squinting his eyes, Gerald realized that it was the first, second, and third child.
With that, Gerald pressed his car horn with the intention of asking for help to move some groceries.
Some people were standing in the courtyard at that time. When they heard and saw Audi parked in front of the house, they could not help but be curious to get out to see it. Mr and Mrs Winters followed them too.
When Gerald opened the car door and stepped out, everyone present was shocked.
“Gerald? You drive an Audi? ” asked the wife of the eldest son, obviously surprised. If this was the car that Gerald was driving, then he was much more capable compared to his own son!
“Huh! Don't fooled. This Audi definitely looks like a used car!” reply Francis.
Francis wore an ugly expression as he said that. After all, he was driving a car that cost only thirty thousand dollars. Since the Audi A6 Gerald may be more expensive, it is inevitable that its inferiority taste will flare up.
With a depressed expression, Francis then walked over to Audi and kicked his tyre lightly. “No need to make a big fuss about this. Used car reconditioning like this is commonplace. If the seller was an acquaintance, he might be able to get it for about fifteen thousand dollars. You know, my friend once tried to persuade me to buy a used Audi as well. I refused his offer. Heh. After all, the poorer you are, the more you want to drive a nice car to show off!”
"He's right. Only rich bosses can drive Audi cars!” answer the other young man.
The man in question is Jasper Winters. Looks like he's gone home this time.
“You all seem to have misunderstood something. This isn't my car. The car belongs to someone else. I just loaned it out for a few days!” gerald said with a faint smile.
"Oh! And here I think you suddenly get rich and buy your own car! Turns out it wasn't yours from the start!”
Looking around, Gerald could not see Queeny anywhere. It felt strange that he wasn't here, but he didn't question anyone about it.
Turning to see Mr. Winters, he said, “Master. Winters, I bought some stuff for you! Let's move them into the house first!”
"Oh! Young man, why are you spending so much more money? You bought so many things! ” reply Mrs. Winters pretended to be angry. He just didn't want Gerald to spend so much money on them.
"It's okay. After all, all of these are basic needs. They also do not cost too much. I'm giving you a pot of presto, so if you buy bones and ribs, you can make soup! That's good for your health!” gerald said with a smile.
His goal was to deliver the items to Mr and Mrs Winters so that Gerald ignored the ridicule from others.
“Yeah, this pressure cooker is actually branded! How much does it cost you?” asked the second brother-in-law, jealousy reflected in his eyes.
“It's not too expensive. Just a little over seventy-five dollars!” answer Gerald.
“Heh. So this pressure cooker cannot be compared to the one given to us for free by Francis' unit. You get free stuff like this once in a while when you work for a public agency, and you know what they say, free stuff is always the best to use!” bragging third sister-in-law.
“Queeny itself is not too bad. He usually gets peanut oil, canned tuna, and other canned foods from his company once every two months! We couldn't even finish everything so the cans just piled up at home! We hardly need to spend any money on food at all! ”
Not to be outdone, the second brother-in-law kept saying, “Oh, and did you know? One of Queeny's colleagues took her out for dinner tonight. She was invited to dinner almost every night, so I barely had to cook dinner for her at all. We really have so many free meals..”
As the group continued to brag among themselves, none of them considered helping Gerald move the items within at all.
In the end, it was Mr and Mrs Winters who helped her move everything inside.
After everyone entered the house again, Gerald suddenly remembered that he had something to tell them. "Oh that's right…"
