“I tried to get tickets for the concert last night, but everything sold out! Can you believe that? This is so unfair!” mina shouted almost hysterically.
At that moment, Nathaniel entered the office. Unlike Mina, however, she seems to be in a pretty good mood.
"Trs. Chandler, you're trying to get some tickets too, right? How outcome? Can you get anything? ” ask some employees as they surround them.
“Hehe... Luck really sided with me this time! Even though it was only the last row seat, I managed to secure two tickets!” nathaniel replied with a satisfied smile on his face.
"Holy! You really managed to get two! That's amazing, Mr Chandler!” exclaimed the girls there with envious tones in their voices. As they continued to talk to her, some girls tried to make subtle physical contact with her. Perhaps by doing so, they could get a chance to be invited!
“Nate, since you have two tickets, do you mind selling one to me? I really want to go!” mina said as her eyes sparkled with hope. Although it was a concert organized by Dream Investment Group, even their own employees had trouble getting tickets. After all, this is not an employee exclusive event! Many rich people from Mayberry will attend the concert as well.
“Sorry, Mina, but this ticket is for Bianca. We're going to a concert together!” nathaniel replied while shaking his head.
“Huh! He must first accept your offer. You're acting so desperate, you know Nate?” mina shouted in response.
“What do you mean, desperate! You know nothing about how I feel!” nathaniel shouted back.
Just then, Bianca arrived at the office. Everyone was speechless when they saw him, and he was well aware that all of his comrades were staring at him. Embarrassed, he hurriedly approached Gerald.
“So Gerald, you said you had a surprise for me, right? What'sthat?" bianca said in a soft voice. He knows that Gerald isn't the company's most favorite employee, so if he's standing nearby, maybe it'll help attract his attention.
In addition, Gerald texted her yesterday, mentioning that he had a surprise for her, so he wouldn't just reject her. Nathaniel on the other hand, was filled with anger and jealousy.
“O-oh... You want it now?” gerald asked, a little surprised. He had heard the whole argument of Mina and Nathaniel and he was not sure if now was the best time to give him a ticket.
"of course! Ha ha! Don't tell me you're just kidding about that? Huh! And to think that someone boasted that he had concert tickets for me!” bianca said in a playful tone. To be honest, he thought Gerald was just bullying him. Then again, having an awkward conversation with her was much better than having all the attention on her.
“Hah! How funny! As if he could get a ticket! If he even had one ticket, I would do whatever he said! ” Nathaniel said furiously. “Ignore him, Bianca! Come on, look what I got for you!” he continued while taking out his last line ticket for him to see.
Gerald was now feeling very upset. He wanted to remain humble, but after hearing Nathaniel's ridicule, Gerald wouldn't back down this time. “So, Mr Chandler, you said you'd do whatever I said if I managed to get a ticket, right? Are you sure you don't want to take it back while you can? Everyone's watching you, you know?”
“Pfft. Still trying to bluff, so. And what if you don't get it? I'll have you walk around the company with just your panties as punishment!” tejek Nathaniel.
