Gerald was silent as he followed behind them. Others have taken credit for what he has done. He thought this kind of scenario would never happen to him again.
Jarvis himself looked like he was crazy. It was as if he had lost all his senses. Why does the manager speak for him when all he contacts is the deputy manager?
Then again, Gerald knew that this was partly his fault for acting so low with everything he did. However, he did not really want to expose his true identity right now, especially in front of this bastard. The whole experience was a little disappointing.
As they entered further into the building, the two groups slowly merged into one, large. After Jarvis' 'help', the girls from the other group felt grateful to him. Some of them even started idolizing her, and this made Yolanda envious, giving birth to a strong sense of competition in her soul.
The girls who teased her were also very beautiful. Of course, this only added to Yolanda's jealousy and resentment towards the girls. However, all he could do was roll his eyes towards them.
"Put my bag for me!" yolanda said as she threw her bag at Gerald before walking towards Jarvis, looking displeased.
“Say Jarvis, where will we go later? Didn't you say that you would take me to the spring and treat me good food?” yolanda asked while pouting her lips and holding onto Jarvis' arm.
He's going to attack now. If she didn't act fast, her husband would probably be stolen by one of these girls! Both Hugo and Queeny have helped him get closer to her lately. Adding that to Yolanda's good looks, Jarvis and her are now at a stage where they can openly flirt with each other. He's been so close.
"Of course I will!" jarvis said with a smile.
"Oh? Is he your girlfriend, Jarvis?” ask one of the girls.
"She's so pretty!" complete the others while smiling.
Yolanda only remained silent as her ears lifted, waiting for Jarvis' response.
Jarvis then put on a fake smile as he said, "No, he's just a very close friend!"
"By the way, Miss, I'm not happy to know your name" Jarvis continued. The girl he spoke to was indeed, very beautiful and graceful.
"Of course!" jarvis answered while pulling out his phone. As the two exchanged numbers, Yolanda's sneer grew more and more.
Gerald on the other hand, quietly observed the entire incident. He realized earlier that the girl looked like Xabrina. As soon as he heard his name, he immediately understood why. Queeny herself looked dumbfounded. He then asked somewhat hesitantly, "Um ... Did you happen to be related to Brook Waxham?"
"Oh? He's my grandfather!” michelle answered.
"All right then! How coincidental! My grandfather was Theodore Winters! Does that name ring a bell?” exclamation Queeny.
Michelle just chuckled. How could he not know who it was? After all, he was the one who framed her with that freak, Gerald Crawford.
“Of course! Actually, you're Queeny Winters, aren't you? Granddaughter of Mr Winters! I remember meeting you a few times when we were young!” said Michelle. He seemed to be warming up for them.
Gerald felt a little awkward about this turn of events. That's too coincidental. However, she was lucky Mr. Winters didn't mention anything about the blind date when they had lunch together yesterday.
Queeny was already on her way home when Mr. Winters took Gerald to lunch. It was clear that she wanted to ask about a blind date, but it was inconvenient to do so because Queeny existed. Gerald himself did not want to talk about it. He wanted to wait until lunch before talking about it with Mr. Winters.
