“Yes, come on Xella, let us know. What's wrong?" ask some classmates with curiosity.
Xella nodded before she started sharing the incident that happened to her in great detail.
Not long after, Gerald's curiosity was satisfied.
It turned out that not long after he was recruited by the company, his superiors began to constantly harass him. The supervisor in question is the deputy manager of one of the departments.
According to Xella's description, the deputy manager was a bald man who lost all his hair around the crown. He looked quite old and lewd in general.

Once they know who my girlfriend is, no one tries anything funny with me anymore!” morgana.
"I know? By the way, Xella, you and Sharon were both the prettiest girls in our class during our school days. Sharon already finds herself a good and strong boyfriend so you should definitely do the same! Find yourself a guy like that who values you and you will face fewer problems like this in the future!” added Ra.
“Don't worry, Xella. After today's meeting is over, I'll settle the matter for you! After all, he was only a vice manager! ” said Waylon confidently.
"Waylon, I just want you to scare her a little so she stops bothering me, please don't do anything unnecessary!" xella replied with a slightly worried tone.
"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing!"
“If you want to scare her, you don't have to look any further! Gerald was here and he could easily ask Louie to help him!” cameron said as he looked at Gerald.
Gerald stared back at him and could only smile coldly as the others laughed out loud.
It was a rare moment for Gerald to finally find someone who was equally fun, kind, and capable. But it doesn't matter in the end.
Xella looked at Gerald for a moment before turning her eyes and looking back at Waylon.
The answer is pretty clear.
Back in high school, Xella has a pretty good relationship with Gerald, to the point where he actively defends her from Waylon.
Now, however, he was much closer to Waylon.
Waylon was naturally considered the most powerful among his classmates and he had more connections and resources compared to the others as well. Gerald had nothing but Louie, as far as the people there knew.
Gerald could understand the reason and could not completely blame him.
After experiencing enough in society, ordinary people usually conclude that money and resources are much more important than actual friendships.
Gerald was honestly a little upset that it happened to someone he had treated like a close friend before.
