The Invisible Rich Man's

The Invisible Rich Man's
Chapter 443

“...Oi. That's Gerald isn't it?” said a man who recognized the figure of cycling in the rain.

“I think you are right! My God, he's cycling in the rain! And it seems like he is in a hurry too!”

"I heard he won the car or something, but he turned out to be as shabby as ever!"

"Yes. To think I once admired him when I knew he had won the lottery. ”

A group of women there started discussing Gerald.

The ten of them standing by the door were his classmates. The counselor, as most people had expected by now, was none other than Cassandra.

It just so happened that Cassandra moved into a new house again today. He doesn't need to live in the faculty apartment anymore.

Because St. Cloud Neighborhood was a luxurious neighborhood, the house cost around four hundred thousand dollars.

Cassandra has been working as a lecturer at the university for quite some time now. He has even set up his own online store, working as an online seller.

With the help of Felicity promoting her store and products, it was no wonder that Cassandra managed to earn so much money.

With that kind of money, he was able to buy himself a new house with three bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen.

Because she needed to move her belongings to her new home, she sought help from students at Mayberry University.

After the transfer was completed, he treated them all to a meal at a local restaurant that explained why they were all crowded near the door of the restaurant.

Looking at Gerald again after some time, Cassandra could feel her heart racing.

He was like Felicity because both of them liked Ordinary Humans. Knowing that Gerald was most likely a real Ordinary Human, he felt sensitive whenever things about Gerald appeared.

Moving back to Gerald, because the rain was so heavy, he couldn't bike fast enough no matter how hard he tried.

At that moment, three cars rushed past him in quick succession, all of them moving towards the entrance of the St. Environment. Cloud.

As soon as the last car hit the brakes, Felicity, Yvonne, and a few others rushed out. In their hands were their cell phones along with other live broadcast equipment.

Gerald had told Tammy about what he found before before his phone died. He must have told everyone about it.

By the time Gerald got home, he saw Tammy and Giya's parents trying to get past some of the guards guarding the entrance.

"Let me through! Let me see my daughter!" exclaims Giya's mother.

Realizing that they were the parents of the victim, the guards looked at each other before seeing Gerald standing in the rain. He gestured for them to let them in and they immediately allowed the others there.

A guard hurriedly ran to Gerald before whispering something in his ear. Gerald's legs felt weak as he was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. Drake and Tyson have saved Giya. Gerald nodded to the guard and the guard ran back to the house to deal with other things.

Gerald notices that Felicity is just about to enter the house, so he walks up to her and tells her about the good news. Felicity paused for a moment before nodding. Gerald simply nodded, a tired smile on his face before he walked away slowly.

As he watched her walk away, a voice suddenly called out to him.

The students from earlier had left the restaurant to take a closer look and one of the girls happened to see Felicity.

Felicity's surprised. Why are so many of his classmates here?

Realizing that Yvonne was there, he approached her.

“Felicity, you are amazing! They do not allow anyone to enter but you are given access to enter with your crew! What exactly happened there?” ask a curious girl.

Felicity had just been told to come along to broadcast the scene so that even she was shocked when she first saw all the Maybach cars blocking the entrance. Fortunately, Tammy had told the guards that Gerald had sent them so they were allowed into the neighborhood.

“A girl kidnapped. We received news of that so we rushed here without knowing how large the scale of the rescue mission really was. I'm as surprised as you all saw a lot of people involved!”

“Eh? Who's the girl? Seeing how his parents reacted, they did not seem to be the leader of this group.” asked another girl.

Cassandra was also curious so she looked at Felicity.

Felicity just shook her head. “I'm not too sure either. Gerald was the one who told us about the location of the girl from the start. I spoke to him a few seconds ago and he told me that he had been saved as well. He seems to be unaware of what happened and he is shocked to learn that he is now in a house in St.'s Neighborhood. Cloud!”

"Gerald?" cassandra said, dumbfounded.

“Yes, the girl in question is her friend. She was the one who asked for my help to look for her from the beginning.”.

After saying that, he paused for a moment.

Both Felicity and Cassandra looked at each other, shock reflected in their eyes.

Suddenly, someone laughed out loud. “Everything, look! Gerald was drenched from head to toe! Someone's late to the party!”

"Look at him! How pathetic! Hey, Yoana! Didn't you say that you liked it before? Why don't you confess to her now?”

"Fuck it, only a fool would confess to her!"

As the students continued to laugh at him, a shout sounded.

"Trs. Crawford!”

Several bodyguards holding black umbrellas suddenly shouted in unison. The shout was so loud and clear that the entire neighborhood might be able to hear it.

Two bodyguards then rushed straight towards Gerald to protect him from the rain.

Gerald shook his head while wiping his face with a handkerchief. As the other guards quickly handed over another one, Gerald pointed towards Ofo's bicycle lying on the ground.

Upon arriving at the scene, he got off Ofo's bike and his bike fell to the ground as he rushed towards the front door. A guard moved towards the bicycle, putting it upright. Gerald knew the guards would take care of the rest.

"Trs. Crawford, we managed to save the girl. However, he fainted once he knew where he had been held captive all this time. Rest assured, he is not injured, just a little tired,” said a bodyguard who had stepped forward.

"That's a relief. Take me to him.”
