The three of them then closed their eyes before being taken somewhere. They were eventually taken to a building and their cell phones were also taken from them, before their blindfolds were removed.
Xeno was completely convinced that the person who planned all this was none other than Quazzie's cousin Grover.
This was clearly part of Quazzie's plan for revenge.
After all, they were here but not Quazzie and his real gang members. It doesn't take a lot of brain cells for Gerald to know that they're okay.
The three had been locked up in a small room for a while now and none of them had been brought in for questioning.
“D mn everything! I'll make sure I break the back of that b stard if that's the last thing I do! Just wait!” Damned xeno.
All Gerald could do was try to calm him down. He can't really call for backup without his phone. Zack will probably solve the problem now if Gerald still carries his phone.
“What are we going to do now? What will happen to our store? We've been here for over two hours and it's probably already six in the evening! Ahhh, this makes me very anxious!”
Gerald knew how much he loved Xeno. After all, he had not made a fuss even during such a stressful situation and he was still thinking about their shop!
…Wait, it's six o'clock?
Gerald thought for a moment. Zack may be anxiously trying to contact her now that she's still not there. If Zack still can't reach him after a few tries, Gerald's search party might happen.
“Xeno, Sienna, there is no point wasting your energy with anger or worry. That's what they want. Let's just wait a minute. I think we should be able to leave in an hour or so! ” says Gerald.
"One hour? That's too fast and specific, Gerald! Pretty sure we'll be here much longer... The b*stard was definitely planning something evil.” replied Xeno, still glaring at the door.
Gerald remained silent and calm.
While this was happening, Quazzie was handing Grover a cigarette in another building.
“Ahh, Grover! That guy pissed me off for a while now so this time, I taught him a very good lesson that he will remember for a lifetime! ”
“Don't worry about that. And you! Stop causing so many problems!” Grover.
"Trs. Grovers! One of the phones keeps ringing!” said one of Grover's men while holding Gerald's phone in his hand.
“Yeah, the owner used a pretty good phone! That model should cost at least a few thousand dollars, right? ”
Mother and child are also on site. The angry mother glared at Gerald's cell phone.
“Yes, it costs about three thousand dollars. It's high quality stuff!” the girl said, feeling a little strange.
The caged couple did not look like the one who would buy such expensive items. Could it be Gerald's? Could he be secretly a rich man?
He refrained from laughing at that thought. That's not possible!
Whoever the owner of the phone was, they might just try to pretend to be rich. Poor people usually use high-quality items to try to pretend to be rich.
“If it is really expensive, just take it! After all, we should get something in return after being beaten up! ” said the woman furiously.
“Leave it. I'll help you claim your medical expenses! answer Grover.
That's really a nice phone. If anyone takes it, it's him!
“So... Mr Grover, did we pick up the phone or not? Looks urgent!” said the same man from before.
“Thank my ass! Just turn it off and set it aside!” grover's warning.
“You're getting better at this, man! Also, I heard that you will get a promotion soon! ” Quazzie said with respect.
"That's me! Let me tell you something, Quazzie. The most important thing to have today, is resources. Nothing can stop me or anyone I know! A good example is our leader and the representative of the Merchant office. These are all resources you know! ”
As Grover and Quazzie continued chatting, Zack looked at his phone anxiously.
“How, Zaki? Still not lifted?”
The party had already started and all the important guests had arrived. All but one. Gerald still doesn't exist and he can't even be contacted anymore. Everyone started to worry.
"Worse. No one picked up early, but now, I can't even take calls anymore!” zack said while frowning.
