Giya also had no idea what was wrong with herself. It's weird to see Gerald being that way.
'How could Gerald not be interested in a girl like me?!' Giya still could not accept the reality.
Giya accidentally sends a message to Yakob to pick him up just to show Gerald that he is not that easy to get!
Girls like that. As long as they are interested in you, they will try their best to get your attention.
However, Gerald did not understand such things.
When Giya returns the bracelet, she hopes Gerald will stop her, but he doesn't. She had even taken back the bracelet, and when Giya was picked up by another man, she also did not say anything.
Giya is really upset with Gerald. How could he still want to have dinner with Yakob?! Therefore, he really wanted to get out of the car.
Yakob was stunned when he saw Giya get out of his car and call a taxi. He thought that it was something he said that made him angry!
Meanwhile, Gerald had already returned to his own dorm. He sees Harper smoking on the balcony scratching his head, seemingly a bit annoyed, and Benjamin accompanies him.
"What's up, Harper?" Gerald walked towards them.
“Ah, you are back! Look, the thing is, exams are coming, and Hayley's mom is coming to Mayberry. They even expected me to come back with them! Hayley told her mother about us, and her mother insisted on seeing me!”
Gerald smiled. “Isn't it a good thing to see your girlfriend's parents? You should celebrate! ”
“How is that a good thing?! I know what Hayley meant when she said her mother was coming! She wanted me to arrange a place for her mother, and if her mother was happy, she would probably still praise me a little. But if his mother is unhappy, we might break up after graduation!” Harper is in deep trouble with this.
Although the Harper family was quite wealthy, it was quite difficult to find a good place to go in Mayberry.
Gerald also did not know how to help him because Mayberry Commercial Street had been sold, and Wayfair Mountain Entertainment was no longer his!
Maybe he could help her like how he helped Benjamin the last time he came to visit.
"What's your plan, Harper?" ask Gerald.
“I've been thinking about it with Benjamin now. You two can come with me to pick up Hayley's mom. I've arranged a nice hotel, and I know that Yorknorth Mountain is having an event tomorrow night. I'll take them there!” said Harper.
Gerald nodded his head.
Gerald had no idea about the event that would take place tomorrow because after all, it was organized by his own village and Zack did not need to report to him about such things.
"Well fine then. Let me know if you have any other request, I will try my best! ” says Gerald.
Harper was instantly relieved, and he patted Gerald on the shoulder.
Hayley's mother will arrive the next morning. Gerald, Benjamin, and Harper meet Hayley and her roommates outside of school early the next morning.
Harper did mention that it would be strange and awkward if only he and Hayley would pick up Hayley's mother, but if there was a group of them, it would seem even more exciting and fun.
