By then, Gerald had returned to the dormitory.
When Harper and Benjamin saw her, they immediately rushed to hug her.
“Welcome back, Gerald!”
He was also very happy to see them. In a short period of time, the three of them started chatting and chasing each other.
Gerald had gone back to campus first only to see Harper and Benjamin. He still has to go to his company.
As the three continued to chat with each other, the dormitory door suddenly opened.
Gerald was shocked when he saw a foreign girl standing at the door.
"Brother brother!" the girl shouted happily while looking at Harper.
“Hello, Benjamin! And you must be Gerald, right?”
"That's me. It's so nice to meet you! Are you Harper's little sister?” ask Gerald.
"I! I'm Roseanne! You're so handsome, Gerald!” roseanne replied with a smile.
“By the way, my sister told me that she would take me to lunch with my new roommate later. Are you coming with us too, Gerald?” ask Roseanne this time.
To Gerald, Harper seems to mention his name quite often to his sister.
“I want to have lunch together, but I don't seem to have time, because I still have to go back to the office for a while. How about this, you guys can have lunch together first and I'll make another arrangement for us later tonight. I'll treat you all to a good meal later!” gerald's suggestion with a smile.
"I understand! That's not good... Alright, Gerald! You have to take care of your things first.” said Roseanne, her voice a little upset. His eyes reflected a little of his disappointment as well.
However, they quickly lit up again when he asked, “Actually, what time are you going to finish, Gerald? You still have to have lunch, right? If you only go to the office for a while, you can still join us! We'll just have lunch a little later than usual!”
"That's right. If I don't have anything else going on later, I will definitely join you all for lunch! Well, I better go now so I can finish what I have to do faster!”
Gerald felt he couldn't turn it down a second time.
The four of them then headed downstairs together and after coming out, they saw several girls standing right outside the dormitory.
It was only the first day of orientation but almost all the faces looked a little bored. Even so, having a bored expression does not change the fact that some girls still look very pretty.
After greeting them, Gerald accompanied the troupe and walked with them for a while before leaving the university and returning to the company.
“Hey, hey! That senior is so handsome!”
When Gerald left, some girls immediately started talking about him.
That's natural because the general discussion topics for freshmen are usually about men. They would talk about which men in the class were the most and least handsome, which seniors they passed by looked the most perfect and so on.
It usually occurs in boys as well although in the reverse sex.
"I know? He is rather gentle and he has a pretty good temperament too!”
A few other girls were following along as well.
"Did Gerald have a girlfriend, Harper?" ask one of the girls.
He just smiled before replying, “Of course. Actually, do you guys know who he really is? I guess I haven't even told Roseanne about her real identity.”
"Oh? Who is he exactly?” ask Roseanne curiously.
"Well, have you heard of the mysterious Mr Crawford of Mayberry City?" asked Harper in a tense tone.
"What's? Isn't he the outstanding rich heir of Mayberry City? In addition to him being rich, I also read posts on several forums stating that more than half of the great and prominent figures in Sunnydale Province attended Mr Crawford's birthday banquet!”
The girls were surprised to hear Mr. Crawford. They clearly know who he is.
“Well, that's it! Mr. Crawford from Gerald directly!”
All the girls immediately started screaming or squealing.
