“Why are you hiding? Why can't you be more like a man? I know that Giya likes you even though we don't know why, but you really hurt her!” said Tami.
Gerald immediately felt guilty after listening to him, because Giya had indeed asked him many times, but his offer was always rejected.
Gerald thought that Giya was just being nice, but he never knew that she had always been serious about it and had bought food, waiting for her in the cafeteria.
Gerald felt very guilty about him.
"Do you know what Giya said about you?"
"What?"
“Giya thinks that you are a good and honest man. She also thinks that you are pretty cute, and she will be very happy to be friends with you. But who knows that you're just a jerk! Giya's in trouble and you're here to buy drinks for the pretty girl! You don't even care the slightest bit about Giya at all. He's so wrong about you!” Tammy instantly felt better after letting go of her emotions at Gerald.
Gerald's surprised. "Giya's in trouble?"
“It wasn't Giya, it was her mother. His mother fell seriously ill. It was the day he asked you to have lunch in the cafeteria. He brought some home-cooked food and waited for you there, but how dare you cancel it again! She then receives a call from home saying that her mother fainted and she leaves immediately after taking a leave of absence!”
“We all know that you have never seen Giya as a friend before! If so, why did you give him such a precious jade bracelet ?! ” Tammy glared at Gerald.
Then, when the drink was ready, he paid and left Gerald alone there, dumbfounded.
Gerald feels very guilty and heartbroken, not because he's in love or anything, but because Giya really thinks of him as a friend, but she doesn't care about him at all. Even when he had a rough time with his family, he had been waiting for him in the cafeteria, and yet, for these three days, Gerald had not even bothered to contact him at all.
The post was three days ago, and Gerald didn't even ask if he was okay!
Gerald felt very bad, but at the same time, he also did not know what to do.
Tammy hasn't gone far, and Gerald soon chases after her.
"What do you want?" tanya Tammy is cold.
“I just want to know in which hospital Giya's mother is in and what diseases does she suffer?” ask Gerald.
“Newly now you bother asking? You jerk!” Tammy scolded him.
“She's in Provincial People's Hospital. This is a very rare and troublesome disease. Many doctors also cannot diagnose it!” Tammy said briefly, and then, she left.
Gerald was still considering whether he should visit them or not. If he were to leave, he would not know what to say to them, nor could he help them.
Suddenly, Gerald remembered something. Now that he has taken control of the Martial Law Base, he might be able to help Giya's mother.
The Military Emergency Base was where they stored all weapons, medical equipment, and even confidential information. According Mr. Kendall, this is the most powerful source in the world, and perhaps, the medical information they have might be able to help Giya.
Gerald called Drake immediately.
