"Could something bad happen to her?" michael Zeke said carefully.
“Normally, Mr. Crawford hangs up on me right away if he's busy. However, he did not pick up or hang up the phone even though I had already called dozens of times! If anything happens, Mr. Crawford will definitely tell me in advance!”
"That's right, and if the phone wasn't with him, who hung up last before turning off the phone?"
Both Michael and Zack felt something was wrong.
At that time, Leopold White—subordinate Michael— entered with a group of people.
Leopold walked to their side before saying, “Master. Zeke, I'm going to Mr. hotel. Crawford and the hotel manager told us that he was last seen leaving the hotel this afternoon!”
"He went out?"
Michael and Zack looked at each other.
Several high-ranking VIPs at the banquet started to gather around the two of them.
The place was divided into several large lounges, making the place quite large. Those in the inner place mostly consisted of VIPs. It was also where Michael and Zack were currently.
"Trs. Zeke, Mr Lyle, is something wrong? Why is Mr Crawford not here?” ask Mr. Harrison.
The VIPs had heard them discussing the situation which caused them to ask the two of them about the matter.
"It looks like we can't reach him at the moment."
"Trs. Lyle, I found it!” jaxon shouted as he rushed over. He was panting and panting when he finally approached.
He then approached Zack's side and whispered in his ear.
"…What?" Zaki's eyes widened.
Those who realized the situation calmed down immediately.
"Trs. Harrison, Mr. Lyle, and Mr. Zeke! Mr. Crawford has been kidnapped and most likely he's set up!” jaxon.
"Imust be!" mr. Zeke said, shocked.
“Bring witness, Jaxon! The rush!" zaki's orders.
As soon as he stood in front of them, he began to tell them everything he knew. About how the situation started with Xeno's shop being vandalized to the point where Gerald and the others were 'captured' by some shady looking men. He also explained the relationship between Quazzie and Grover.
Of course, he did not share all of this information for free. Jaxon had paid him a lot of money to tell the truth during his interrogation.
Some VIPs there are embarrassed.
After a short silence, the chieftain slammed both his hands on the table.
“Investigate this issue immediately! I want answers and results!”
"Yes sir!"
"We'll also go there to see if Mr. Crawford really did commit that crime!"
With that, his head and men immediately rushed out of the place.
The people outside who were chatting amongst themselves were stunned at such a huge scene.
"What's? What's going on?" ask a middle-aged man to a driver.
“Oh, Something bad seems to have happened. From what I've heard, it looks like Grover has kidnapped Mr. Crawford! I'm also not sure why, but now the chief will personally investigate the matter. Please don't tell anyone about this! ”
"Huh? Mr Crawford was kidnapped? Grover?”
That person was Willie Jung and he was shocked by what he heard.
After pondering over the matter for a while, he sent a text message.
Grover and Quazzie were still chatting amongst themselves when Grover received a message on his phone.
After reading it, his face paled immediately.
“What's up, cousin?”
"Oh my God, I think I might be in big trouble!" grover shouted as he rushed towards the building where the three were locked up.
