Gerald just slapped his face hard. He used so much of his strength in that slap that Gerald could feel a burning sensation in his palm.
Wallace cupped his injured cheek as he sat on the ground. This is proof of how hard Gerald slapped him. Naturally, the sound of a slap attracted everyone's attention.
