“Sial! That's a Lamborghini Reventon! That thing cost over 200 million! ”
Everyone was amazed.
At that moment, Sienna and Xeno got out of the car. Xeno then threw the car keys at Gerald before saying, “This is it, brother! I brought him here, as you asked! ”
Gerald had asked Xeno for help two days ago. Since he did not have a car in this area and he still needed some kind of transportation, he told Xeno to bring his car.
Gerald smiled as he patted Xeno on the shoulder. They then entered the conference room together.
"So the car belonged to Mr. Crawford!" everyone said with envy in their voices.
After taking many pictures, the birthday celebration finally began. According to Zack, the celebration was far less grand than what Gerald's sister had organized at the time.
Gerald had no trouble accepting that fact. After all, her sister had rented the entire island for her birthday party! That's too much, even if it's for his birthday!
The party continued until about three in the afternoon.
Although Giya had promised that she would come to the party, in the end, she did not. After Gerald tried to call her a few times, he finally picked her up. The reason for that was because he was not feeling well so he could not come.
A little worried, Gerald asked if she was okay, but she immediately hung up.
He decided not to question her further after that. After all, it was not mandatory for him to attend his birthday party. After drinking a few glasses, Gerald decided to rest in one of the waiting rooms.
“Hey, who are you? No outsiders are allowed to enter here! ” said a guard outside.
“I'm Mr.'s relative. Crawford! I'm Mr Jung!” answer the voice of a middle-aged man.
Of course it was Willie Jung. He had begged his comrades to let him in, and after entering the hall, he immediately headed to meet Gerald.
First, he knew that rumors about him insulting Gerald would spread as quickly as the disease. Therefore, he might end up losing his current position. He was well aware that he had crossed the line back then.
Second, if he put his ego aside and begged for Gerald's forgiveness, he might even have a chance to be promoted back to his original position! For Willie, now is the right time.
It was disappointing for him to learn that Gerald had such a large network. He cursed himself for insulting Gerald. Otherwise, his life could be much better now.
He had some questions about the Crawford family swimming in his mind. One was how he became so powerful in such a short amount of time. However, Willie knew it was better to keep that thought to himself at least for now. The important thing at that moment, was for him to meet with Gerald.
“Please, I want to meet Mr. Crawford! Can you tell him that his Uncle Jung is here? ” pinta Willie as Leila and Leia wait behind him.
The bodyguard was completely unsure. He knows better than to mess with anyone connected to Gerald. Therefore, he entered the room and immediately told Gerald about Mr. Jung.
After a while, the guard came out again, looking at Willie with a dirty look while saying, “Master. Crawford is resting now. If you want to meet him, you have to wait!”
"Yes, of course!" willie replied while nodding profusely.
With that, half an hour passed …
An hour to come soon.
After waiting for five hours, the night had arrived. However, Willie was still waiting outside the room, his legs aching from standing for too long.
"Trs. Crawford is having dinner. He told you to come back another day, and he will consider meeting you later, ” said the bodyguard after he came out of the room again.
The corner of Willie's mouth could not help but twitch again when he heard that.
