A reply came from one of Leila's friends.
“Alright, all right, girls. Tell me what, I'll pay for whatever we have for dinner tonight! We can spend up to one thousand and five hundred dollars tonight!” douglas said with a smile.
“But Douglas, why did you pay? Gerald's obviously the one who should be treating us!”
“Well, you may not know this, but I owe Gerald that much money! If I pay that amount for dinner, IOU will be paid off completely!”
Douglas thought to himself at the time, that Gerald should not have considered taking back one thousand and five hundred dollars from him!
He would rather use the money to entertain everyone than return the money to him.
"Good! Le's go! It's time I got home from work today!” said the salesman happily.
At that moment, Leila's phone started ringing.
It's Willie.
"What'sthis? Didn't we agree that he would donate at least a hundred and twenty thousand dollars so that I could find him a job? Why is there only seventy thousand dollars?”
“Dad, he sold the car for only a hundred thousand dollars because the buyer was his friend!”

"Gerald, my father said..."
Leila felt a little embarrassed when she saw Gerald. He did not know how to tell her that he would not be given a job soon.
Gerald just smiled faintly. He had anticipated this to happen.
“It's okay, you don't have to worry about finding a job for me. For dinner, you all go first. I'm not coming. Goodbye bye!"
As he spoke, he took out an IOU Douglas from his pocket before tearing it in half in front of them and throwing it into the trash.
As he walked away, he did not feel angry for some reason, even though they were constantly mocking him.
It took a while, but Gerald soon realized that it was because they were not from the same world as him. He didn't need to hold a grudge against ants like them.
There will be no more debt on his father's side. This is something Gerald believed in.
Therefore, he did not have to worry or even care about them anymore. Dinner with them will be meaningless.
That night, Gerald returned to the hotel to sleep.
At seven the next day, his phone started ringing.
It was Xeno.
“Good morning, Gerald! You awake? If you are free, why not come to my store? We have a wonderful breakfast waiting for you here! Oh, and by the way, I've sold your car! Come and let's celebrate it!” xeno said by phone.
After learning that Gerald may be desperate for money, Xeno spends most of the night contacting some of his friends and colleagues to find Gerald's car buyer.
Gerald himself missed Xeno too. Even if he didn't call Gerald, Gerald would still visit him.
After all, he had already thought of visiting Xeno long before returning to Serene County.
After she finished washing and put on a new set of clothes, Gerald headed straight to Xeno's used car shop.
Upon arriving at the familiar shop, Xeno immediately dragged Gerald into a room and locked the door behind him.

After finishing his sentence, he handed the check to Gerald.
Naturally, Gerald was unwilling to accept it. After all, Gerald wasn't even sure if Xeno actually earned any money from the transaction.

That voice belonged to Sienna who had just come out of the kitchen.
