By the time Gerald finished completing the home payment, the day was almost noon and Xeno made sure Gerald was aware of this by constantly calling out to him.
After rushing back to his hotel room to change into better clothes, Gerald immediately headed for a restaurant called Johnsbury Bistro.
While he was on his way there, Xeno and Sienna were already at the restaurant.
Three other people were in a private room with them.
One is Sienna's partner while the other two are the girl who will be Gerald's blind date today as well as her mother.
The girl had long black hair, and her skin was very white. She looks smooth and beautiful. However, his appearance dictated his behavior as he looked cold and his head often lowered as he constantly looked through his WeChat.
Her mother, on the other hand, was a plump middle-aged woman with tattooed eyebrows that looked similar to caterpillars. Unlike her daughter, she looked rather sturdy and even formidable.
“Gerald is a very nice person, and we don't praise him for that either. You'll know what we mean when you meet later. This time her mother asked.
“Oh, he doesn't have a car yet. But you know, cars are not worth that much money! ” answer Xeno.
His mother coughed before saying, “Well, you know, having a house or a car is not the most important thing for us. We just hope he's an honest man! I won't accept a guy who just likes to brag and talk big!
“Oh, you can be sure that the man is the most honest man on the planet! We grew up together so we were more confident about his personality,” Sienna replied.
While everyone was chatting, Gerald finally opened the door and entered the room.
“Gerald! You there! Come here quickly so I can introduce you to them!” xeno said with a smile as he started introducing the two parties to each other.
He could breathe a little easier knowing that.
The plates arrived soon after and the two sides talked to each other as they ate lunch.
“You know, they really took the time to serve the last dish! I'll go and ask them about it!” said Sienna's colleague while standing up. He silently winked at Sienna and Xeno.
“Ya, I think I will join you,” Sienna said. Xeno asked to go to the bathroom as well.
Before Xeno left the room with the other two, she patted Gerald on the shoulder and gave him a secret thumbs-up. He closed the door to the private room, leaving only Gerald, the girl, and her mother inside.
Seeing that everyone had left, the middle-aged woman wiped her mouth with a paper towel.
