Since they were going to Mount Yorknorth, Gerald had to slack off!
After meeting with Zack, Gerald goes to pick up Queta and they all go to Yorknorth Mountain. Zack had made all sorts of arrangements, hence the village chief was waiting for their arrival.
The development of Yorknorth Village has never been good because of its location and undulating roads. Now that they knew someone might invest in the area, the village chief was very concerned.
It was the first time Gerald had managed such a big project and he was a little nervous. After reading the information Zack had given him and feeling the breeze on the mountain, he felt very relaxed.
There are springs near the mountain and waterfalls that fall from the top of the mountain. The air is really fresh up there.
When Gerald saw all this, he knew that he had to develop this place.
Zack is in charge of the contract while Gerald will be the first to invest in Yorknorth Mountain Village. The cost of the entire village is five million!
Gerald had to pay an extra three million on top of the other two million from his sister. But it's worth it.
After signing the papers, the village chief mentioned that there were some details that they should discuss. Gerald lets Zack handle it himself and then he goes with Queta to look around the mountain.
Since Queta was familiar with the village, he took her around and they went to the old lake, Lake Rodefort.
Gerald felt much better sitting by the lake.
Suddenly there was a noise from behind.
“Wah, Hayward! Didn't know your hometown was so beautiful! Let's have a barbeque party here tonight!”
Some young people were talking as they walked towards the lake.
They sound like they love nature but at the same time they love money.
“Something big happened yesterday and barbeque parties have been banned since yesterday. But you all seem to want it so badly, so we can try but we have to clean it up really well! Especially the ashes!” Said a man named Hayward.
"Oh yeah! Barbecue and beer parties! No one left consciously tonight!” Everyone cheered.
“What's the big 'things' you just mentioned, Hayward? You've been very closed since this morning! ” Someone is starting to get curious.
“I can't say much because my father told me not to tell anyone. But I'll tell you guys a little. Someone will be here to sign a contract today to sponsor the development of Yorknorth!”
"Shoppers!" Everyone was surprised and excited.
If that were true, Hayward would also be rich!
They walked towards the lake as they spoke and Gerald realized one of their voices sounded very familiar. He turned around and he saw Lilian, Sharon, and a few others.
"Gerald?"
Lilian and Sharon walked over and they glanced at Gerald and Queta.
Lilian and Sharon had always wanted to travel before they graduated and had previously heard about how beautiful Yorknorth was from Hayward and he had invited them to visit. Since they were free, they decided to visit Mount Yorknorth. They never thought that they would see Gerald there.
