“Gerald, I bought you these fruits. I've washed it, so come and eat!”
Giya placed a tray of fruits on the coffee table, then picked up an apple of her own and started chewing it while watching television.
Rather than the fiancee escaping matchmaking, Gerald thought he looked more like he was coming for a fun vacation.

And then Giya's phone rang again.
“Argh, very annoying!” Giya painstakingly snatched her phone once again. “Didn't you hear me? Oh, that's you, Tammy..” Giya slightly eased. Setting the phone to speaker mode, she placed her hands on her lap, and her head on her knees, and the two girls started chatting.
“Giya, you didn't really run to Gerald? You know, your dad just called my dad, asked if you were here! He asked all the girls from our dorm, too! He's worried sick!” Tammy grumbling.
“Yes, I'm with Gerald now. Let her worry...as long as she knows it is impossible for me to marry that man!”
“Mm-hmm.. Hey, I'm nothing now. I know a few people in Serene County as well. How about I come there to hang out with you two? Now that you two are items, Gerald owes a favor to all of us, of course.. Hahaha, you know..for Gerald to be your girlfriend, it was really a case of pearl scattering before—”.

Shamefully, she said to him, “Gerald. I didn't want to lift the scandal, so I also told them that you are my girlfriend. You don't mind, do you?”

“Also, Tammy said she'd stop by in a minute. He's got relatives living in this section—let's go out and have some fun together! I mean, if you don't go, then they might start thinking.” Giya pleaded with her.
