“Yes, Mr. Crawford. I'm at the military base. What's your order?”
Drake and Tyson had been Gerald's bodyguards, but they didn't need to follow him for 24 hours, and hence, he had placed them in charge of the military base.
“Can resources at the military base help diagnose unknown diseases?” ask Gerald.
"of course. The medical department at the military base is among the best doctors in all fields. They can cure most diseases! What do you need, Mr Crawford?”
“There was a patient whose daughter was named Giya at the Provincial People's Hospital. He was a student at Mayberry University. Please find and send the best doctor!"
"Understand me, Mr Crawford!"
Gerald then hung up. That's all he can do to help. She doesn't expect that Giya will thank her because she shouldn't expose herself.
After that, he returned to his own dorm to study.
Meanwhile, at the Provincial People's Hospital. “Doctor, please help my wife! No matter how much it costs, I will be willing to pay! ” A middle-aged man pleads with doctors at the Provincial People's Hospital in despair. Beside the man was a young and beautiful woman with teary eyes. The two are none other than Giya and her father, Walton Quarrington.
"Trs. Quarrington, we've told the world's best doctors to help, but to be honest, none of us have seen a disease like this before. Rest assured that we will try our best!” Said doctor.
Walton fell backwards, but fortunately, Giya was there to hold him back. He then sat down on the chair to rest.
“Dad, should we call Yanken? They should be able to help!" Giya was very sad to see her father like that.
Walton shook his head. "No. We have nothing to do with your grandparents anymore. There is no reason for them to help us! I just hope this isn't your mother's destiny. She has suffered for most of her life with me!” Walton cried as he said this, and Giya also cried with him.
"Trs. Qarrington, Giya, we are here to visit Mrs Quarrington!” Some people came.
There are many things they bring. Tammy has returned to the dorm and is coming with them as well.
“It's nice to meet you all, Giya's friends! Thank you very much.” Walton forced a smile to greet them.
“Thank you for coming, friends!” Giya.
“Whatever to you, Giya. How's Mrs Quarrington doing?” tami was worried.
"The doctors had brought in some specialists this morning, but they were still unable to find out what was wrong!" Giya said as she shook her head and cried.
“Maybe I could ask my father to bring some doctors to check on him? He's abroad now and knows some pretty famous doctors,” Yakob said.
Both Walton and Giya were hopeful, and Walton immediately thanked him. “That would be very helpful, Yakob! Thank you very much!"
“Sama-sama, Mr. Quarrington. Anyway, Giya is my classmate!” Yakob smiles.
Yakob immediately called his father. Deep down, he knows that his father's connections are not as good as Mr. Quarrington. He wasn't sure if his father could help at all, but he had to try.
Yakob's father immediately promised him when he heard about the situation. He only had this one son, and he had to help him.
Yakob's father immediately contacted a doctor he knew from abroad as well as a local doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Yakob then returned happily and said, “Master. Quarrington, my father has arranged for some doctors to stop by tomorrow!”
