By the time Gerald reached Xeno's second-hand car shop, several cars were already parked outside. Even from afar, he could hear a group of people fighting from inside the store.
As Gerald approached, he could see that the glass door had broken. The backs of two familiar people could also be seen in front of the shop.
It was the mother and daughter of a blind date!
Gerald instantly put two and two together.
No wonder he kept telling her not to come by phone. People are chasing him!
“F *ck! That's her! He's the one who beat us up!” the angry woman shouted as she looked at Gerald.
As he pointed at her, several people who looked like gangsters holding wooden sticks came out from the store. They had dragon tattoos all over their arms and they each had fierce expressions on their faces.
Xeno himself ran out, holding a kitchen knife in each hand. Although he was clearly outnumbered, Xeno was not afraid.
They were all outside now, and since Xeno was holding a knife, no gangsters dared to come forward.
Both sides were just waiting for the other to make the first move.
"ignore him! The B*stard that beat us both is here! Hit him to death!” yelled angry mother.
"Put a finger on my brother and I'll chop off your head!" xeno shouted as he thrust his knife into the air. The gangsters were both unwilling to move closer to him.
As tensions continued to rise, applause rang out from behind the gangsters. Everything gave way to a tough-looking man. He wore sunglasses and as soon as he waved his hand, the men immediately retreated. It seems he is their leader.
“Come, Xeno! We've known each other for years, and we're both in the same industry! I know what you're like. To be honest, if it was anyone else, I don't care! However, my cousin and his mother were involved this time. They were both beaten up and I can't take it lightly! Someone needs to give me the right explanation!” the man shouted while breaking his neck intimidatingly. This guy means business.
“This bitch is your cousin? Quazzie, I didn't even know you had an aunt!” xeno scorn.
“Oh, you don't have to worry about that, Xeno! Look, I know we used to have business problems and you usually receive all the support from the others. I set that aside for today. We have another big problem now!” as Quazzie said that, he pointed at Gerald, glaring at him with a dagger before looking back at Xeno.
“Be aware that this is not over yet! Let's go, friends!” quazzie shouted as he waved his hand again. The gangsters followed behind him, occasionally looking back with intimidating looks.
“Quazie? You released it so easily ?! ” said the girl was upset.
“Oh, I have other plans! They will be playing in a moment, but for now, just sit back and enjoy the show!” answer Quazzie with a grin.
As soon as a group of people left, Gerald began to feel very guilty.
They were here for Gerald, but Xeno had to pay the price!
“I'm sorry, Xeno! Siena!” said Gerald.
“Sorry only if you make a mistake, Gerald! No one blames you! That quazzie b*stard has been fighting with me for a while now, even before you return to the county! We always have a reason to fight!” xeno growled as she entered her shop again.
As soon as he entered, he put the knife to the side before sitting on the chair and lighting a cigarette.
Sienna, on the other hand, gets a broom and a pengki to clean up broken glass.
After a bit of calm, Xeno explained to Gerald how the situation was before.
Xeno and Sienna went to the hypermarket to buy some ingredients for dinner. When they return, they find Quazzie, her mother, and daughter waiting for her outside her shop.
They obviously want revenge on Gerald, but since they can't find him, they go to Xeno. However, Xeno refused to tell them how to contact or find Gerald.
