“Quinton, how did you get to know each other? See ye. You brought so much stuff! Come and sit here.”
Mila's mother was Helen Smith, and she was the vice president of their company.
Therefore, he has an extensive social network.
Although Quinton had been involved in a bad scandal a few days ago because of his charitable actions, Mrs. Smith was well aware of his family's potential. Moreover, it is acceptable for a young man to occasionally make mistakes in his life.
More importantly, the Ziegler family has expanded its business on Mayberry Commercial Street. They will soon rise to power.
If his company can receive help from the Ziegler family this time around, doesn't that mean their crisis will be solved?
After hearing Mrs Smith's question, Quinton looked at Gerald with a dirty look and said, “Of course I know him! He is a famous character in university!”
Thinking of how Gerald was present during his last few embarrassing moments, Quinton's hatred of Gerald began to grow.
After making that cold statement, Quinton sat down on the main seat of the sofa.
Victor had heard of Quinton Zeigler before and knew what kind of character he was in society, so, he smiled and nodded at the latter politely.
Whitney did the same, hoping Quinton would notice her presence.
He had no objections to his bad past as he was undeniably the son of one of the richest men in Mayberry!
However, Quinton's eyes were only on Mila.
After what just happened, Quinton and Alice broke up for good.
Luckily, Quinton's father was a businessman with a large network.
Incidentally, Mila's father's company has a business relationship with them.
Previously, Quinton had tried several times to invite Mila to dinner but was rejected. So, to Quinton, Mila Smith was a cold-hearted goddess who never admitted it.
However, the situation has changed. Now that Mila's family is facing a major crisis, Quinton can rekindle his plans.
At least he should act as a kind man.
"Tn. and Mrs Smith. My father has received news about your company, so, I'm here on behalf of my father to get a better understanding of you personally. I will call my father later to explain the situation to him and see if he can help. After all, all of Mila's friends who were here today were not ordinary people. We can work together to find a good way to help you overcome the crisis!” Quinton said with a confident smile.
"Indeed. You're absolutely right, Quinton. I really hope you who have connections with influential people can help us if possible.” Helen Smith started to like Quinton.
Victor and the others nodded in agreement.
“Quinton correct. Although we may not be as strong as the Ziegler family, we can still contribute as much as we can. After all, Mila company only faced some capital constraints, still maintaining its potential.”
"Yes. One of my mother's friends holds a high position in the bank, maybe we can get a loan from her bank!”
Everyone is working hard on what they need to help. Some help with their own money, some use their connections to get funds.
Helen was so happy to see them all willing to help.
She was very clear about her daughter's friend's background. None of them came from a mediocre family.

Helen Smith had sensed Quinton's hostility towards Gerald, so, she acted quickly to expel him.
His actions startled Gerald who was just about to call Zack.
Somehow, he could understand why he did it. He must have thought that he was a useless person and apparently, he had chosen to side with Quinton.
Gerald felt bitter.
He admitted that he had done some bad things before, but that was nothing compared to Quinton's deeds. Just because he was a wealthy second generation, his terrifying past was easily forgotten by others.
To him, being forgiven by others seemed impossible. To them, he was truly disgusting!
Why do they receive treatment that is different from others? Well, Quinton's rich, and he doesn't have any money.
