The Invisible Rich Man's

The Invisible Rich Man's
Chapter 499

The girl in question is Leila Jung.

Gerald honestly did not hate him, nor was he upset with her compared to his parents.

However, he really wished he hadn't seen her now.

At that moment, he recalled his time as a seven or eight-year-old. Her father had taken her out, and that was when she met Leila for the first time.

Back then, he thought that he was very beautiful and he would definitely have her as his wife when he grew up.

Gerald also could not blame his younger self for thinking that way. After all, young Leila was always clean and beautiful. He also wore nice clothes all the time.

But what has not changed is his arrogance. He doesn't like the fact that Gerald isn't a resident of the city.

The young Gerald had tried to approach him several times, but he had always rejected him.

Gerald remembered how optimistic he was to make her his wife, though he was still a little afraid of her back then.

Fortunately, his feelings for her fade as soon as Gerald enters high school.

However, now that they have met again, Gerald knows that if he reveals his true identity to her, Leila will be turned upside down for him.

He shook his head before looking back at her.

But things are much different now.

Instead of wanting to chase after him, he tried his hardest to avoid it. As the saying goes, You attract what you fear!

“Are you trying to ignore me? Didn't you see me clearly before? I even got off the cab because I happened to see you cycling on the road!” leila asked in an angry tone. He seemed to have broken his leg.

“Oh, Leila! Sorry, didn't manage to see you there!” gerald replied awkwardly.

“Well, now that you have, I plan to take a bus to Mayberry today. Unfortunately, my leg broke so I won't be able to go alone!”

As he said that, he limped closer to Gerald.

“Ah, what a pity! May your feet heal quickly! I'll go now!” gerald said hurriedly before trying to pass through the automatic door again.

"Hi! I'm hurt here! Why are you trying so hard to leave? You show no concern at all! ” grunts Leila. His indifference to the situation was rather disappointing.

He also recalled how he had never taken his words and actions seriously. That all changes when he learns that Gerald is rich.

Leila herself now cared about the way Gerald thought about it. He was also finally willing to take his words and actions seriously.

But what did Gerald do? Why is he showing indifference to her now?!

He wouldn't wink if he treated her like this in the past but not now!

Everything about their relationship went awry and it made Leila really unhappy!

"Ah. Oh no, your leg looks hurt. Are you all right?" ask Gerald reluctantly.

“Huh! It's okay!" leila shouted furiously.

He could remember the incident clearly. That day, Gerald had drawn ninety thousand dollars before his eyes. What's more, Gerald has helped Aunt Francesca achieve her job target. He was even made vice president! Leila learned of this because her mother cried bitterly over the incident. Leia was still very upset about this matter.

Leila herself was shocked after hearing that. He felt as if he had lost control of everything!

"Good to hear! All right, I'll go back to my room now. Need to sleep well after a busy night! ” Gerald replied while yawning.

He's not kidding either. He really just wanted to rest now.

"So, this was your place all along?" leila asked, surprised again.

"Yes" he answered before finally making it through the automatic door.

“Gerald you're so cold! I hurt my leg and I just want to go home! Can't you at least give me a ride back? ” cried Leila, her eyes becoming a little red.

The person who had been pampering him all this time was now treating him as if he was nothing!

"With what? A car? The car I sold so your dad could get 'donations'?”

“It... Well, I saw you parked that Ofo bike! You can give me a ride on a bike! Also! My mom got sick from being angry last night because of what you did! This will be your main opportunity to visit it!” leila replied, frustrated.

“F * ck you and you mother! Glad that he is! Now leave me alone, you two are none of my business!” cursing Gerald who had lost his temper.
