Kyle grinned.
"Huh. Was he thinking of taking all the money he won? I'm sure it won't be enough.”
"This is the first time I've seen someone like this!"
Listening to their taunts, Gerald had a desire to reveal his identity.
However, he soon calmed down, because once he did that, he would never be able to live the same life again. He would never be able to finish his studies peacefully, and he would be forced to leave.
This was because his father would not leave him alone at the university.
If so, his life would be totally disrupted, and Gerald didn't want that to happen.
He only wanted to improve himself at his own speed, silently. He was satisfied as long as he did not lack money.
Gerald sighed. Then, he said, “True, I have class later. I'll go, then.”
Gerald stood up and left.
“Gerald!” Mila.
She was horrified, especially when she, at one point, looked down on Gerald when he talked about his past.
He really regretted it.
'Why don't I think from Gerald's point of view? Who would want to do that if he ran out of money? After all, Gerald has treated me well all this time. Now that he heard that I was in trouble, he came to see me. He even brought me presents.'
Mila thinks that she has molested Gerald.
"Gerald, are you mad at me for not defending you when they scorn you?"
Mila bit her lip.
“No, I'm not angry. I'm just wondering if that's what you think of me. Do you think the same with them, that I am a man without limits when money is involved?” Gerald looked at Mila with a smile.
“I did it a while ago, but not anymore. Gerald, I think we're still good friends!”
Mila moved closer to Gerald.
Gerald said nothing. He just nodded and left.
Outside Paradise Ville.
Gerald took a long breath. She felt a little sad when she found out that Mila would think about her like everyone else thought.
Gerald had mixed feelings. He could not describe them with words.
Nevertheless, he pulled his phone out of his pocket and called Zack.
"Trs. Crawford, is there anything I can do for you?”
“Sister Zack, I need help from you. There's a company called FuturTech Inc., and it looks like it's in trouble. Can I invest in that company?”
"Investing?" Zack was stunned for a moment, and then he was overjoyed by what he heard. "Of course you can! Miss Crawford would be so glad you did. Doesn't matter. No problem at all! I'll take care of it soon!”
"good. Don't use my name. Use the company name instead, Brother Zack.” Gerald reminded.
"Yes, I will solve this problem in an hour!" Zaki said happily. Mr Crawford has made a major overhaul!
After hanging up the phone, Gerald was ready to return to university. He was currently preparing to take his next driving test, so, he planned to train for a while.
However, when he arrived at the college, he received a call from Harper.
"Ha ha ha! There's good news, Gerald! Very good news!” Harper said between laughs.
"What's that?" Gerald was startled by the words of his house chief. He always tends to be impulsive.
“It's about Xavia. He fought with Yuri. Even the police have come, saying they are here to arrest Yuri. It's a mess now. We'll all go to the girls' dorm to see what happens!”
Xavia fighting Yuri? And the police have come?
Gerald was very confused. How could they fight so hard?!
He must go and see!
Gerald hung up the phone, still unable to understand the situation. Therefore, he decided to go to the princess dormitory.
