Hugh was silent for a moment, then he laughed out loud. "Young man, you seem to be very arrogant!"

Landon doesn't dare to scold Hugh.
He sighed and looked at the ruby pendant in his hand. He then said something that made the expressions of everyone in the room change. "Mr Lewis, this ruby pendant is original!”
“This is indeed a ruby pendant worn by Queen Victoria, whose name is Chance Ruby. The last record of the pendant was in the hands of a duke, but then there was no news anymore. It must have changed hands after that. I didn't expect the locket to reappear today.”
