After friendly negotiations with Vita, the three then move from business-oriented to something more casual to getting to know each other better.
While they talked about the issue of distant lands, Jasper was very willing to work hard in what seemed like an unreasonable chatter.
Domestically, business has always been a profitable game.
People like Vita were not attention-grabbing characters, and he would be considered someone from the lower classes among those who dealt with Jasper every day.
However, Vita held a very important position.
Even if Jasper requests a meeting with the head of the ICBS branch in Waterhoof City, there is no guarantee that he can bid the price up to 300 million Dollars.
With Vita, he can.
While the branch head would definitely hold more authority than Vita, the head had more things to think about. The Vita is only responsible for this single aspect, so mediation becomes easier.
That is why, in some ways, minions have more power than bosses.
With John here helping with the process, Jasper hopes to get Vita by his side, and Vita hopes to have millionaires like Jasper backing her up, the three have a very pleasant conversation.
The night is getting late, and Vita says goodbye to them first. John had to attend a study meeting the next day, so he left Waterhoof City for the Southeastern Province that night as well.
Jasper did not comment much, considering his friendship with John was much deeper than his friendship with Vita. The two shared a tacit understanding, so there was no need for unnecessary pleasantries.
"Isn't he just a branch office manager? Why did you spend a full five hours entertaining him."
Henry immediately began to complain as soon as Jasper returned, losing his temper due to his long stay in the room.
"A character like him doesn't even have the right to talk to me in Harbor City!"
Jasper hangs his jacket on the clothes rack and replies. "This very small character you look down on just saved me 150 million tonight. You still think five hours is a waste?"
"30 million in an hour?!"
Jasper smile. "of course. Wanna come?"
Henry immediately shook his head strongly. "Forget over. My father would beat me to death if he found out."
"Alright, enough jokes. How's that thing I asked you to do?" ask Jasper.
Henry grinned and replied, "Don't worry about that. I may not be able to do much else, but there is no one better than me when it comes to playing dirty tricks. I've found everything."
Henry then threw the newly printed research documents and replied, "Everything you need is here."
Jasper took the documents. His tone was pleased as he replied, "Not bad. I'll remember your hard work when it's over."
Flipping through documents, there is character recognition right at the beginning.
"Derick Mallin, 48. He was the general manager of the G.S.Hull Family's Export Limited Company. He is the second person in the company mentioned above with a long-standing friendship with lan, the president of the company. He's the only confidant there is."
"Derick is the one who handles all the business transactions of the G.S.Trade Export Limited Company, so if you want to know if the company is doing anything suspicious or problematic, then, Derick would be the easiest person to squeeze."
"Do you think you can deal with him?" ask Jasper.
Henry pursed his lips and replied, "From what I got at the end of Harbor City, the man has migrated to Harbor City permanently with his entire family. He has embezzled quite a bit from the company over the past few years and all of his family's business is based in Harbor City. I can face it with my eyes closed."
Jasper smile. "He shot himself in the leg. I'll leave this to you, then."
Henry sneered. "What do I get in return?
Jasper thought about it and replied, "I'll let you join me to take over the big fortune next year."
"Agreed!"
