Chapter 315
Henry lay on the bed irritated and angry while wailing. She is Anna's older sister, and as her older sister, she brings Jasper back only to be treated no more like a driver that her sister got rid of once Jasper arrived.
Then he heard a knock on his door. Enthusiastic, Henry wonders if his sister has finally found her conscience and comes to apologize and invite him to join in their conversation.
"Hmmm!"
"Now do you remember what I've done for you?"
"Now, are you sorry?"
He would hold on and make sure his sister knew that it would not be easy to beg for forgiveness from him.
Then, Henry opened the door, his arrogance slightly visible on his supposed stoic face.
"Did you come to apologize"
"Where is the Lafite you brought from Harbor City?" Anna violently cuts off Henry and forces Henry to swallow his words.
Henry's eyes widened as he asked carefully, "What do you want? I kept that Lafite for myself!"
"Give it to me" Anna replied emotionlessly.
Henry's expression became furious. Does he not respect his brother?!
"You hope!"
Henry decided that he would fight to the death for his dignity.
Anna grinned. "Are you sure? Dad told me to take care of you before we left. Or should I call Dad and tell him that you spend every night drinking and forget what you came here for?"
Henry's lips paled in anger. "It's a lie and we both know it!"
"Do you think you'll believe me or you?" Anna's lips curled at an evil angle.
Thinking of how this was the first time his father had given him such an important job and how his brother's false accusations would easily mess with him Henry's lips turned even more pale.
Cramming a bottle of wine into Anna's arms violently, Henry's expression grew furious. "You don't even drink alcohol, why do you want my Lafite?"
"Jasper loves red wine." Anna carried Lafite in her hand and turned to leave with a small laugh.
Stunned, Henry stomped his feet furiously. "What the fuck is this, you did it for him? Oh my God, at least invite me too! It was Lafite '82! I have only three fucking bottles!"
Henry walked out of the room angrily and followed Anna closely.
Anna ignored him and returned to the room, waving a bottle of red wine before Jasper's eyes as if waiting for praise. "Lafite '82, want to try?"
Then, he casually pointed at Henry for him to open the bottle.
Henry finds a bottle opener, and he feels his heart cry silently.
"What the hell is this, how can he take my wine?!"
"Then treat me like I'm his servant!"
"I'm your brother here! We are related! With blood!"
Jasper smile. He looked at Henry's extremely chaotic expression and got the gist of what was happening. "Good, I'd like to have a discussion with Henry about securing the Olympic Village project."
Henry's ears lifted as he grinned.
With Jasper's help, his chances of success would now increase by over 50%.
He wanted to ask Jasper, "Do you want something to accompany your wine, Sister-in-law? I'll buy it all for you now."
It should be known that Henry at this time did not doubt Jasper's abilities. He greatly admired the man and wanted to become a man like Jasper!
