Jasper meets Sylva in the villa's living room.
Jasper's met the guy before.
From what he remembered, Sylva was a middle-aged man with the aura of a true and elegant man around him.
However, now that Jasper was staring at Sylva again, he wondered if he had mistaken this man for someone else.
Jasper sighed slightly as he looked at Sylva's stooped posture and the messy white hair above her head.
"I'm so sorry, Mr. Hanks."
Jasper knew that Sylva had news of Zayden's death.
Sylva grinned with a tearful smile and took out a cigarette, she fumbled through her pocket but couldn't seem to find a lighter.
Jasper pressed his lighter with a single click and reached out to light Sylva's cigarette.
"Thank you."
After taking a long pull, Sylva coughed twice, Jasper then broke the silence.
"Is there a reason why you came, Mr Hanks?"
Jasper and Sylva will still be enemies, not friends if Zayden is still alive, now that Zayden has died, Sylva's arrival means the man has moved on from their past.
"One's death is no different from the extinguishing of fire." Sylva sighed deeply and bowed further.
"I've made up my mind, I still have over a million Somer Dollars saved up and that should be enough for me to live the rest of my life in peace, I've spent my whole life fighting for fame and power, only to lose it all to my son."
"Now, my business is gone and I'm losing my son too."
Sylva looked at Jasper and smiled dejectedly, "Dear end, don't you think?"
Jasper remained silent.
Sylva rubbed her face and sighed subconsciously, "I shouldn't have told you all this, but I can't find anyone else to pour out my heart, forgive me."
"It's okay" Jasper said consolingly.
"I came here with another purpose, to tell you about something."
"Now that he has died, there is no need for me to keep it a secret anymore."
"My brother Sirius has joined Conrad, the two will work together to attack all the properties with your name and Dawson, this will be an attack from all sides, and their main target is all the projects your Real Estate company has in the Southeast Province."
Sylva looked at Jasper intently and spoke, "There's no need to hesitate or feel surprised about it, this is very far from her ability and Conrad if combined."
"This is what to look out for."
"In addition, Zayden also told me last night that there was a traitor among the four richest families of Harbor City during the stock market crisis, this traitor was the Langdon family!"
"Wallace Langdon has teamed up with these cunning bastards from Wall Street, they tried to screw up Harbor City's economy for money but you managed to stop them, and yet, they didn't give up, they didn't give up, they have decided to cooperate and attack the other richest families as well."
"Zayden doesn't know who the other party is, all he knows is that Kennedy has been responsible for this now and he has been planning for a very long time."
Jasper frowned, and his expression turned serious hearing Sylva's words.
Sylva was very relaxed after she finished speaking and she stood up, smiling, she spoke, "Alright, I've said everything I have to say and it's time for me to leave."
Jasper looked up, "Stay still, I thank you for the news you brought me, I have a question."
"I want to think I know what kind of person Zayden is, so what forced him to commit suicide in the detention center?"
Sylva smiled at the question and replied, "My son has finally won against you." Jasper looked at Sylva in confusion.
There were signs of tears in Sylva's eyes, "She told me last night that they might as well kill her if they wanted to force her to do something, the only reason he killed himself was if they threatened him with me."
"Conrad is a cruel man, and I wouldn't underestimate him threatening Zayden with my life, maybe that's why Zayden made such a decision."
"When he said that to me last night, he also said something else, he told me that you would be confused, and if he shot him properly, then that means he has won."
Although he was in a daze, Jasper sighed softly and got up to say again, "I'm so sorry."
Sylva waved her hand nonchalantly and muttered, "I'll leave now, whatever happens after this, well that has absolutely nothing to do with me."
After speaking, the old man slowly walked away, Jasper felt an indescribable surge of anger within him as he watched the man leave dejectedly.
'Conrad, Kennedy, and Sirius are out of control.'
'Nobody said what the three would do for their own benefit.'
