Victory in Life
Chapter 590

"So your mouth, as far as I'm concerned, Julian's close enough to be my brother while we're no closer than strangers." Jasper turned his head towards Terence who was holding onto his cheek and was currently being dragged into the room by Julian.

Terence clenched his jaw but spoke no more.

"Slap him, Jul."

He knew that regardless of what happened today, he was screwed.

Ignoring their intentions and whether they were just doing this for their own benefit, Zayden and Sirius seem to have come to an agreement.

That put Zayden in a good mood.

He gets the support of Monty's family and the green light from his uncle.

The series of attacks he had prepared diligently for Jasper could start tomorrow.

The uncle-niece pair, who each had their own agenda, were in a good mood, they ended up drinking large amounts of alcohol.

Zayden was drunk when they separated.

She swayed as she opened the door of her apartment, Zayden kicked her shoes and yawned upon entering the house, enveloped by alcohol, she wondered if she should find a woman to spend the night with.

However, Zayden was surprised as he entered the house, he stared in disbelief at Jasper sitting lazily on the sofa.

Zayden felt like his mind was muddled when he saw Jasper.

He never expected to see Jasper in his house! He was astonished, surprised, and also a little frightened.

After calming the complicated emotions in his mind, Zayden asked in a hoarse voice, "What the hell is this?! are you a human or a ghost?!"

After receiving such a shock, the drunkenness Zayden felt had now disappeared, but his brain had yet to fully grasp things.

Jasper smiled with satisfaction at Zayden's reaction like a child who had just bullied people, there was no hostility in his smile as he replied, "Of course a human being, are you surprised?"

After quickly regulating his emotions, Zayden then quickly swept his gaze across the house.

There was an expressionless man she did not recognize standing behind Jasper.

Terence is here too!

Terence was currently hiding in a corner of the room in fear, not daring to look at Zayden.

Looking at Terence, Zayden understood what was going on and laughed out loud. "You brought Jasper here, didn't you, you fucking asshole?"

Terence did not dare to look up, let alone stare at Zayden, he did not dare to speak at all.

Although arrogant and stupid, Terence still had thoughts of being a normal human being, he realized that he had no right to speak here.

He would face the same consequences regardless of whether he admitted it or not.

Taking a deep breath, Zayden did not wait for Terence's answer as Terence had expected. Zayden turned his head towards Jasper, suddenly smiling, he replied, "It's New Year's Day, isn't it? I went back to spend Christmas and New Year with my family, is there something wrong with that?"

"Of course not." Jasper nodded.

"But if you came here to get help from distant relatives to get rid of me and persuade my own relatives to set fire to the construction site, then there must be something wrong with that."

Jasper spoke slowly as he turned his head towards Zayden.

Zayden sneering. "I don't even know what you're talking about, you're blaming me for your own construction site burning? isn't that too cocky, Jasper?"

"Look, if I hand Terence over to the police as an honorable citizen, what do you think he's gonna give up your name?" Jasper suddenly asked.

Zayden's smile froze, and his eyes were filled with shame as well as anger.
