Although Penelope is reluctant to admit it, she knows that comparing Wendy to her is like comparing a goose to an ugly duckling.

He forced Jasper into a dead end.
The biggest prize in the entire bet is not 35 million dollars anymore. But Wendy Schuler!
A bet like this is important for the dignity of a man. If one of them loses, they'd better kill themselves.
Jasper frowned. He hates Penelope Hunt more than anything in the world. A flash of hatred could be seen in his gaze.
Meanwhile, Hugh laughed out loud. “Penelope, you're smart. I admire you!" yells.
He kept smiling proudly. "Dude, kneel down and crawl away if you don't dare accept this bet!" he told Jasper and Wendy.

"I believe you!" said Wendy while nodding her head firmly.
Jasper turned to look at Hugh after noting his words. "Mr Lewis, since I've already agreed to your request to add to the bet, you should add something as well. I don't like the woman next to you. Raise your money to 50 million dollars!” he said calmly.
His words made Hugh look at him.
The others did not expect Jasper to be so brave as well. Just when they thought that Hugh would never agree, he sneered loudly. "Well, I'll bet with you!"
