Victory in Life
Chapter 630

Colin's expression was stiff, and his gaze remained fixed on the conference table. He did not look up because he was too afraid to look anyone in the eye.

Under the tremendous pressure, huge sweat droplets seeped out from Colin's forehead at a speed visible to the naked eye. His throat moved and his lips trembled. Although slow, he remained steadfast as he said, "I said I agreed with the motion Mr. Laine made."

The dhuar!

Conrad kicked down the meeting table, unable to hold back the anger that was tearing his heart apart. Amidst the thunderous explosion, the frame of his expensive gold-framed glasses twisted and the lens broke in his hand. Tearing apart his hand flesh, blood flowed from his hand. All the time, Conrad didn't blink.

"Do you have a death wish, Colin Walter?"

Conrad was so agitated that his voice changed. The sharp hissing made his voice sound extremely loud in the ears and was extremely frightening.

Conrad stared intently at Colin, his gaze almost turning into two blades that threatened to slice Colin alive.

"Well, aren't you really that strong?" Henry said cynically as he leaned back in the office chair, looking at Conrad with an enchanted look as if he was staring at a monkey doing a show.

"We're having a meeting, what's with that foul behavior? If you interrupt the meeting, then I have no choice but to intervene and take action."

"He has said twice that he agreed with the motion. Don't you understand human language?"

Mitch looked at Henry with a pouting and sulking expression. "Can you shut up, Henry? What does this meeting have to do with you?"

"You want me to shut up?"

"Who do you think you are?"

Mitch is very angry. He stood up and shouted, "Don't go too far, Henry Law!"

"I'm happy to bully you, what are you going to do about it? Do you want to fight me one-on-one or do you want to call your parents? Why don't we both call our dad, or maybe go see our grandfather?"

Henry stood up, looking sideways at Mitch while sneering.

Mitch's breathing began to tighten, and his eyes were red. Clearly, his anger had broken through the roof.

Seeing how things got out of hand, Dwayne regretted not turning down the offer to lead this meeting. His wrong move resulted in him being sandwiched between two great figures and feeling the effects of their anger.

Afraid that the situation was out of control, he said carefully, "Should we continue the meeting, gentlemen? If you have anything to say, say it after the meeting, okay?"

"Who do you think you are? Are you even qualified to speak? Damnit. Jasper had obviously bribed Colin, how did this meeting go?"

Mitch, who was in mounting anger, no longer cared about his image and turned to curry favor with Dwayne.

Dwayne was furious. His expression then turned cold as he glanced at Mitch coldly, saying sternly, "The meeting should still continue no matter what. If you're not happy about this, Mr. Langdon, please report this afterwards to the Securities Regulatory Commission so they can investigate."

Therefore, Dwayne immediately announced, "The first motion put forward by Mr. Laine of JW Investment Company is to dismiss senior executives of certain non-qualified companies such as Mr. Benjamin Clark, who are not qualified, the general manager of the Investment Department is currently, and investigating him for corruption."

"Those holding 54% of the shares supported the motion, 40% objected, and 6% abstained from the vote. I declare that the motion was passed officially. This will be recorded in the minutes of the meeting. On behalf of the shareholders' meeting, this motion will be implemented immediately."

As Dwayne said those words, he turned around and looked coldly at the still dazed Benjamin, saying, "Master Benjamin, you've been issued by the shareholders. Please leave the conference room and wait for further investigation."
