The auction began shortly thereafter. Jasper and Anna had already returned to the banquet hall.

"How can the two of them be together?" Anna asked as she frowned.
Based on logical reasoning, Zane only has his father, Bob Lancaster. Mitch is different, though. His father was Kennedy Langdon, and his grandfather was Wallace Langdon. They are both top bosses in their own league.
With Wallace Langdon, the Langdons would easily ascend to the throne among the top four families of Harbor City.
Therefore, based on such reasons, Zane had no right to sit next to Mitch.
"Both are equally bad. It should be easy for them to find similar topics among themselves" Jasper said. He doesn't mind at all.
Because he attended the event with Anna, Jasper sat in a chair reserved for the Law family. It was located right in front of the hall.
The first four lines are reserved for the Law family, the Boyle family, the Langdon family, and the Lennon family.
The remaining seats were allocated to other prominent and wealthy families in Harbor City. The seats were extended backwards in order of wealth and status.
There are almost a hundred tables.
