Erik is desperate to end Jasper's life now.

Erik stared at Jasper ferociously and rampaged.
Jasper smiled and said slowly, "Are those hundreds of millions of dollars a lot? will the young masters of the Turner family care about losing hundreds of millions? Well, of course not, there is always a way to earn money, but not much of a chance to see the attractive expression on Young Master Turner's face."
Erik gasped, feeling a dangerous fire gushing from his stomach. It made her feel so uncomfortable that she was like she was being pricked by a needle.
If he could, he would definitely strangle Jasper to death right now.
He never hated anyone this much.
The flames of disdain flickered in Erik's eyes, according to him he had saved Jasper's dignity by saying those words.

Jasper smiled and pointed at Jim who was lying on the hospital bed, saying, "Sure, why don't you pay back the wounds you inflicted on him inch by inch, and when you're done paying everything back, I'll discuss with you how the two of us can take a step back?"
Erik clenched his fists tightly, staring coldly at Jasper with a glare. "You really want to have a death duel with me, huh? If all else fails, I'll come back and admit my mistake later
using Turner resources! When the time comes, you won't be able to end this even if you want to!"
"Erik," said Jasper lightly, "I'm afraid you still don't understand. Ever since you sent someone to beat up Jim, the fight between us has already begun!"
Erik said nothing more, he glanced at Jasper coldly then turned around and left.

Jasper watched quietly as Erik left the ward, his eyes as cold as an iceberg.
"Who is he, Jasper?" Jim finally asked.
Jasper smiled convincingly to Jim, saying, "The mastermind behind all this, but now that it's fine, I have a way to deal with it, I'm sorry for dragging you along with me."
Jim shook his head and said, "I'm not afraid, but you, Jasper, have to protect yourself, these people will do anything."
Jasper smiled and said, "I know my limits."
