Jasper crossed his legs and looked at Hector, his expression unaffected while Hector continued to beg for mercy on him.
Beside him, Henry opened a bottle of brandy and poured Jasper into a glass.
The sight made Hector shudder.
In the circle of their wealthy heirs, one did not pour alcohol for just anyone.
Henry's actions were a statement that Jasper held a higher position than him.
However, Jasper did not think much about it. Instead, Jasper only looked at the glass with disdain.
"I don't drink brandy."

Jasper smile. "I didn't know that there was alcohol that even Mr. Law couldn't afford."
Henry's expression became furious. "You know very well how my parents like to control my pocket money. Not to mention my sister also refused to help me financially. I'm her brother!"
"Talking about alcohol, my parents had two crates of 30-year-old whiskey from his boss when he came to the Swallow Capital 30 years ago. There's no way he'd let me just drink it, but that's what we drank when you came to dinner twice."
"I'm sure my parents would have said yes if you reminded him of the time you came again."
Henry's eyes sparkled as he schemed with Jasper, plotting how he could get his father's alcohol.
He had no idea that their conversation was causing Jacob, Hector, and Jim's backs to shiver.
"This old man Henry talked about."
"That must be Zachary Law, the head of the Law family."
Henry's remarks gave them information that shocked the entire circle of wealthy heirs in Swallow City
"The Law family has invited Jasper to dinner twice!"
"What does that mean, you might ask?"
"That means Jasper is more than just Henry's friend. Jasper's friends with the Law family!"

Jacob's emotions and the other two were still muddled when Henry spoke again
"My sister also came to Swallow City. He's resting in his hotel room right now. All he does every day is make me rush to finish my business so I can take it to you and surprise you. How about you come back with me later? We'll give him a surprise this time.
Jim, Jacob, and Hector all stared at Jasper with strange and complicated gazes. They finally understood who Jasper was.
"He's the daughter-in-law of the Law family!"

"He's here too?" exclaiming Jasper was shocked. "All right, let's get this over with."
Then, Jasper stood up and walked towards Jacob and Hector. Both faces were pale.
"To be honest, I'm just a businessman. The main reason why I didn't want to get in touch with the House members was because of how troublesome it was."
Jasper's words were greeted with a strange expression by the two brothers, but neither said anything.
"But trouble is like looking for me when I refuse to look for it. Say, for example, you two."
"It's not that I'm afraid when trouble comes knocking on my door. Just because I don't like trouble doesn't mean I'm afraid of it. That's my motto."
