Sean and several executives looked at each other.
They all understood the reason behind the actions of their opponents.
The development of the banks of the Southface River is a huge project. They would lose millions if they stopped development for one day.
No one would willingly stop construction unless the situation was dire.
However, their supply of building materials had all been cut off. It is impossible not to suspend a construction site under these circumstances.

"There is a supplier of building materials called Ambition Corporation in Brac Province. The boss of this company is Xavier Johnson. He's one of my partners. lan entered the room with a joyful smile spreading across her face. After seeing the news broadcast on television, his smile instantly widened. He reached out to Jasper and said, "Mr Laine, are you interested in our North Bank project as well?"
Jasper laughs. "I was born and raised in the southeastern district of this province. In the meantime, you've come a long way from Andros to develop the relatively underdeveloped North Bank of the province, Mr. Hull. Since you brought benefits to the Southeast district, I have no reason not to turn a blind eye to this project" he said.
lan smiled cheerfully and gave her thumb. "As expected of you, Mr. Laine. You are truly a generous person" he commented.
"Mr Hull, you didn't come here just to tell me this, did you?" ask Jasper.
lan sat on the sofa and patted the armrests. "You really know how to enjoy yourself, Mr. Laine. This sofa must have been brought in from abroad. It's not cheap" he commented.
Jasper looked at Lan calmly without saying a word.
lan laughed when she realized that Jasper was not playing with her. "Actually, I came here today to ask if you are interested in selling your project in the South Bank to me, Mr. Laine," he told Jasper.
Jasper raised his eyebrows and chuckled. "You have a pretty big appetite, Mr. Hull."
"After all, business is business. At first, I came just to observe the scene without any other intention. However, the more I looked around, the more I realized that the South Bank project really had great commercial value. After all, it will be difficult for your construction site to continue its construction work now," lan said indifferently.
"Why didn't you sell me the project instead of surviving without results?"
"What makes you think that it would be difficult for my construction site to continue its construction work?" Jasper asked in a flat tone.
