With Vita's help, Jasper had a very pleasant negotiation with the Waterhoof City branch.
During the day, Jasper paid 300 million in cash and signed a land transfer agreement with ICBS.
Later Jasper's capital was verified by ICBS, which received a joint guarantee agreement issued by the Schuler Group in the Southeastern Province. He obtained commercial loan credits for a maximum of 12 billion directly from that transaction.
Walking out of the branch door, Jasper smiled at Vita. "What an ambitious bank you work for."
While he only needs eight billion funds to start his plan, ICBS seems to have more plans for 'dairy cows' like him. They signed it with the maximum amount of commercial loan credit that the Waterhoof City branch was able to reach 12 billion Somer Dollars.
Vita understood what Jasper wanted to say and smiled. "This is mainly because we believe that Mr. Laine has the best assets and is worthy of our trust. Not to mention with the Schuler Group joint guarantee agreement, we would easily give out a commercial loan of 20 billion if not for our limit problem."
"We'll need approval from the headquarters if that's the case, and it's just a waste of time."
As a person who had lived two lives, Jasper was well aware of why these people completed the procedure in such a short period of time. Jasper laughs. "I'm pretty sure you're afraid I'll be tempted by another bank, aren't you? A 12 billion Somer Dollar loan, with the lowest interest rate possible, would still cost me 150 million. Let alone 20 billion loans."
Vita laughed out loud. "Bank doesn't have much choice. The competition is too strong."
Jasper smiled but did not comment on it.
That's how banks work. They will fill your pockets full of money when you need funds but will back you up when you need to borrow money for emergencies.
Jasper was well aware that every industry had its own unwritten rules. This is just one of the rules of the banking industry.
"Oh yes, Mr. Laine. There were still some properties on that piece of land, especially some old commercial buildings. According to the contract, the title to the commercial building is now yours, but there are some tenants there. If you want to get rid of him, I suggest you do it as soon as possible."
"I've done the digging and I think there's a GS Trade Limited Export Company there? I heard they signed a ten-year contract at once," asked Jasper, looking relaxed.
"Rubber. This business is actually one of our clients as well. They borrowed two billion from us for business operations. Their president, lan, is an old acquaintance of mine. Pretty dreary guy, and I'm not
saying that we are close friends" Vita explained.
Jasper slightly furrowed his brows.
It was a pleasant surprise to learn that the Hull family had borrowed two billion dollars worth of loans from the ICBS branch in Waterhoof City.
"I consider us friends, Mr. Layne, so I'll tell you something I found. Don't let your branch suffer a loss," suddenly Jasper spoke up.
Vita. He was present when they verified and investigated Jasper's capital, so Vita was well aware of the terrible wealth Jasper held in his hands.
Any news from such a young billionaire was bound to be jarring.
Therefore, Vita immediately brightened up and spoke seriously, "Speak, Mr. Laine. If your words are correct, then this is a favor that I and the branch will hold and remember."
Jasper smiled and waved his hand indifferently. "You're too good. I only told you because I couldn't bear to see a friend dragged into such trouble."
"I heard that the G.S.Trade Export Limited Company had two of their cargo ships, worth a total of 600 million, detained in Harbor City. I think they're suspected of smuggling."
Jasper patted Vita on the shoulder as she spoke. Vita was confused by the news. Jasper continued to speak attentively, "Their company is quietly talking about this and they are trying their hardest to mediate the situation. But you know what about smuggling, it's a big deal."
