Victory in Life
Chapter 555

"What am I really doing?"

Jeremy scoffed and said casually to Sally, "You better be careful, you old lady. Don't make me angry. It's almost Christmas. I'd be unlucky to reduce your Christmas spirit."

"Or do you want to waste my money? That's good too. If you make your son leave, I can give him tens of thousands if I'm in a good mood. That would be much better than him working hard and earning very little, right?"

Wendy gritted her teeth in anger as she looked at the joyous expression on Jeremy's face.

"Julian!" Wendy called.

Julian, who had been unable to stand it for a long time, immediately appeared. He looked at Jeremy without blinking.

Jeremy, who was once wild with excitement, feels the hostility from Julian when he shows up. Jeremy frowned.

"Where did this idiot come from? Get out of the way, can't you see I'm talking?"

Jeremy just finished talking when Julian pulled his collar. He was lifted a few feet off the ground.

His shocking strength caused everyone watching to shout in shock.

"I'll keep you quiet forever if you say another word. Do you trust me?" That one sentence was enough to silence Jeremy.

Julian has proven that he has the power to do what he says he will do. The look in his eyes proved to Jeremy that this man, who appeared out of nowhere, had the guts to do so as well.

"Julian, I don't want to see her again," Wendy frowned as she spoke.

Wendy may have a deep hatred for Jeremy, but she doesn't make Julian do anything extreme. After all, they were in the supermarket, and there were many eyes fixed on them. Everything will be difficult in case of an accident.

Julian seemed to understand that as well. Gasping for air, he threw Jeremy to the side. He landed on the ground.

"You better leave now, or I won't let you lie down comfortably next time" Julian said coldly.

Jeremy hurried to his feet and adjusted his collar. Falling made him grimace in pain.

"Well, wait and see!" Jeremy glared at Wendy and Julian maliciously before he turned around and left.

Sally waved her hand and sighed. "Somebody can actually meet all sorts of people these days. I'm fine, don't worry. I was so angry that I couldn't catch my breath. I feel a lot better now because I'm not so angry anymore."

"Don't worry Sally, people like her won't have fun for long" Wendy said.

"Miss Schuler, Mrs Laine, I've reached out to Jasper. He'll be here soon" Julian said as he walked closer.

Wendy said in surprise, "When did that happen? What did you contact him for? It's nothing."

Julian scratched his head and said, "I sent a message to Jasper when I saw him speaking rudely to Madame Laine, did I make a mistake?"

Wendy shook her head. "You didn't do anything wrong. You've just been carrying out your responsibilities, and you're worried about us. I just thought that we might be making a big deal."

Julian laughed naively but said nothing more.

After all, he would still inform Jasper immediately if something similar happened in the future.

As Jeremy grumbled and walked out of the supermarket, he thought about the incident and couldn't bear what had just happened to him. Taking the phone out of his pocket, he started calling people he knew.

Considering Julian's frightening abilities, Jeremy makes a few additional phone calls. When she finished her call, Wendy and Sally were walking out of the supermarket. Julian was behind them, with a big bag in his hand.

When Jeremy remembers that his men are almost there, he becomes excited again. Walking towards Wendy, he gritted his teeth and said, "Stop!"

Wendy frowned at Jeremy and said impatiently, "Why don't you leave us alone?"

Jeremy smiled cunningly and said, "Do you think you can hit me and just walk away? How am I, Jeremy Morris, gonna keep doing business if that happens?"

Julian was just about to speak when the headlights of the car panned towards them.

The bright light caused everyone to squint and look in the direction where the light was coming from.

Jeremy noticed a car driving towards him.
