Hendrik chuckled and spoke, "Don't be too quick to draw conclusions, Foxx, Mr. Williams hasn't even said anything."
Jon stops nagging and stares at Mr. Williams reflexively, only to realize that Mr. Williams is frowning and looking at him unhappily.
Jon soon loses the courage to speak up, not knowing where he made the mistake.
"People from Easy Media have made it clear when they send a list that we don't need to invite a single person on the list, Easy Media has contacted them and confirmed their presence," Mr. Williams spoke calmly.
Jon immediately paled and shouted in surprise, "No way! there was no way someone like Jasper could invite four rich families!"
Mr. Williams replied coldly, "Are you saying that my eyesight and hearing are bad because of my age, or are you implying that Jasper is so dashing that he makes jokes about things like this?"
Jon stuttered and was at a loss for words.
Mocking, Mr. Williams replied, "The older you are, the more narrow-minded you are! just go! you don't need to follow up on the banquet preparations anymore!"
Jon walked out of the office unhappily and muttered softly with his teeth clenched hard and irritated.
"Wait and see, Jasper Laine! I'm not gonna let you get away with this! there is no way you can invite the four rich families to a banquet! I want to see how you plan to save your dignity when you fool yourself!"
At Swallow Capital University, the door to the MBA classroom canteen.
Jasper is currently waiting for Wendy's class to end.
The two agreed to go to dinner together.
The banquet was within two days and all the guests on the list had already received their invitations.
This MBA class is made up of tough students, four to five of whom received invitations thanks to Wendy.
Everyone was currently bragging about the invitations they had, leaving those without the invitations feeling embarrassed and disappointed.
In the present capital of Swallow, being invited has become a symbol of their strength.
Wendy walked out of the classroom excitedly and turned to Jasper happily, "My classmates are so grateful, they keep asking me how I did it, but don't worry, I didn't sell you."
"Then, how are you going to thank me?" Jasper laughs.
Wendy received Jasper's gentle smile and her mind was filled with somewhat indecent thoughts.
He must have thought of something because his cheeks suddenly turned red and he shifted his gaze while muttering, "Basic bastard!"
Jasper felt very guilty considering the 'asshole' was completely unwarranted and he would speak when he saw Ben and Lisa walking over.
"What are you doing here again?" Lisa asked Jasper unhappily"
Jasper simply replied, "Pick up my girlfriend."
Lisa sneered, "I've never really seen someone as shameless as you, you even called him your girlfriend, didn't you hear a word I said that day?"
"I'm sorry, I don't have the habit of listening to flies buzzing around my ears" Jasper replied.
Lisa turned a little pale from anger and spoke angrily, "Who are you calling a fly?"
Ben spoke calmly, "No need to be angry at the lower classes, Lisa you have to take good care of your skin, however, you will go to a banquet with Mr. Turner in two days, people from the lower classes like him could only watch it on TV."
Lisa sneered, "You can never be sure, with how good Miss Wendy's connection is, who knows? he might even manage to get an invitation for her."
