"Let's introduce ourselves again. Nice to meet you, I'm Sylphie Lang. I'm Anna Law's best friend," said Sylphie, extending her hand to Jasper in a friendly manner.
Jasper understood everything.
Right. Only the highly respected daughter of Sentel Corporation has the courage and ability to make the final decision in a time like this.
Jasper shook hands with Sylphie with a bitter smile etched on his face. "Miss Lang, we meet each other under unique circumstances like this" he said.
"To be honest, I came only out of curiosity with the man who managed to steal Anna Law's heart. Therefore, I have to come here with another identity. I hope you don't mind" Sylphie said sincerely.
Jasper waved his hand and replied, "It's okay, I don't mind."
When Jasper said this, Sylphie turned to face Mr. Hampton and the others. "What are you guys standing there for? Did my words get into the ears of a deaf person?" She asked.
Mr. Hampton and the others immediately left the room.
"Wait there."
Just as Jonathan, whose emotions are unstoppable, is about to escape the crime scene, Jasper stops him from leaving.
Jonathan turned to look at Jasper. "What do you want?"
"Aren't you Miss Lang's girlfriend? Aren't you very worried about our relationship? miss Lang is here now. Why don't you clarify everything once and for all?" Jasper asked without basabation.
After hearing what he said, Jonathan, who was already confused, instantly turned pale.
He had been blinded by his anger before. She had told everyone that she was very close to Sylphie, and Sylphie heard everything she said. He had thought about how
saved the situation when Jasper Laine suddenly decided to hit him in a sick spot. Jonathan was soon overwhelmed with a sense of overwhelming discomfort.
"Why didn't I know I had a boyfriend like you?" Sylphie asked in a cold tone.
Jonathan decided to confront him. "Miss Lang, please don't misunderstand me. I never said I was your girlfriend" she said awkwardly.
"You're just saying that we have a close relationship, and that we never tell the public about it. Don't you?" Sylphie interrupted with a cold grin.
Jonathan's face turned pale. He did not dare to continue trying to save this matter at all.
"Jonathan Lang," Sylphie called out her name in a calm and flat tone.
Jonatan shivers. He looked at Sylphie instinctively. "I don't want to see you again. Do you understand me?"
Jonathan became as white as a cloth. He knelt on the floor and shouted loudly. "Please forgive me, Miss Lang. I didn't do it intentionally. Apart from the others, I did it just for the benefit of the company."
"Also," Sylphie added, ignoring her tearful expression and desperate wail. "I want to see you apologize for your disrespectful behavior towards Mr. Laine" he said.
Jasper glanced at Jonathan and added in a calm voice, "I told you you should apologize for what you told me."
Jonathan was completely trembling as flames of anger raged within him. Right now, he was hoping to skin Jasper alive.
If stares could kill, Jasper would have died many times already.
However, Jonathan had no choice but to suppress his evil thoughts and hatred.
Instead, he took a deep breath and lowered his head towards Jasper. "I'm sorry" he said slowly.
"I can't hear you" said Jasper.
Jonathan raised his head suddenly. "I told you I'm sorry!" He shouted forcibly.
"You didn't say it in a sincere manner" Jasper replied with an unchanging expression.
Jonathan glared at Jasper hatefully. You bastard, don't overdo it!"
Cracks, krak, krak...
Jonathan gritted his teeth in anger, the sound of his teeth clashing against each other echoed throughout the room.
He wanted to leave the room and slammed the door shut, but Sylphie Lang's cold and piercing gaze kept him from moving.
He knew Sylphie's attitude and temperament well. If he were to leave like this now, he had a hundred ways to torture her for the rest of his life. Therefore, he did not dare to risk applying his punishment.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for you now!" said Jonatan. There was no point for him to struggle, so he had no choice but to give up on Jasper.
"Are you satisfied? Otherwise, I can make him apologize to you all day long" Sylphie told Jasper.
"Let him go" said Jasper.
"Did you hear what he said? He asked you to leave" Sylphie told Jonathan.
Feeling like a dog in command, Jonathan clenched his fists furiously. Then, he turned around and left the room without saying a word.
As soon as he opened the door, he passed Emerson Lang, who rushed into the meeting room.
Upon realizing that he hit Jonathan, Emerson slapped him in the face violently in a violent outburst of rage.
Jonathan, who had not been able to calm himself down after crashing into Emerson, was instantly hit in the face.
He gripped his face and looked at Emerson with red eyes. "Uncle, why did you hit me?" He yelled.
"Aren't you reporting me for colluding with outsiders? Can't I hit you for that?" ask Emerson. He was so angry that he suddenly laughed.
Jonathan suppressed the anger in his heart and tried to explain himself. "Uncle, I didn't mean to do that, I."
"Enough," said Emerson coldly. He frowned and turned away from her. He didn't want to look at her anymore. "From now on, don't call me your uncle again. I can't bear that burden anymore" he said.
After saying this, he rushed into the meeting room without even looking back at Jonathan, who was just staring blankly into space.
When the meeting room door slammed shut. Jonathan was finally able to express his burning hatred.
He raised his hand and quickly punched the wall. A loud voice rang out as the skin around his knuckles were torn apart.
However, he could not feel any pain at all. "Jasper Laine, just wait!" He shouted in a soft voice, his face turning angry.
At that moment, the atmosphere in the meeting room was calm and silent.
"I'm so sorry, Mr. Laine. Jonathan Lang, that bastard, caused so much trouble for the two of you, Mr. Laine and Ms. Lang."
Emerson explained. He was sweating profusely.
At the same time, Emerson occasionally glanced at Sylphie.
After all, Jasper doesn't mean much to Emerson. However, Sylphie Lang's attitude determined how her future would look.
As a senior executive, he would be tormented if involved in a dispute with the Lang family's beloved daughter.
"Mr Emerson, I think it is necessary for the company to reconsider Jonathan Lang's position as branch president" Sylphie said solemnly.
Emerson immediately understood what Sylphie implied. He nodded and said, "Yes, I agree. From this incident, I can see that his abilities are inadequate for his current position. I'll consider reshuffling his work."
"good. You can go now" said Sylphie.
Emerson glanced at Sylphie's expression carefully and saw that she did not appear angry. After which, he bid farewell to the two of them and left the meeting room.
After the matter ended, Sylphie handed the contract to Jasper with a cheerful smile on her face. "Let's get back to the problems we haven't managed to solve now" he said.
