Victory in Life
Chapter 625

Conrad and Colin were already in the conference room. After Jasper brought Henry, Julian, Dwayne, and some of his employees into the room, the main door was closed.

The official shareholders meeting begins.

Countless troops and individuals in the Southeastern Province stared at the main door of the conference room.

In a sense, this was Jasper and Dawson, both of whom emerged as higher-ups, challenging the veterans of the Southeastern Province, the Monty family.

The outcome of this battle could potentially affect the trend of the entire upper class in the Southeastern Province.

In other parts of the country, hot money market institutions involved in the mineral industry and even the real estate industry are focusing on today's events.

Shareholder meetings have a much wider scope of influence than anyone could have imagined.

In the conference room, the arrival of Jasper and his group instantly caught the attention of everyone.

After exchanging glances with Colin, the two of them turned their gazes. Jasper was about to talk to Henry when he heard a laugh.

Conrad walked towards them with open arms.

Obviously, he came to greet Dwayne, not Jasper.

Conrad and Dwayne looked very close.

"It's been half a year since we last met, Dwayne. I remember you had rheumatoid arthritis, are your legs better now?"

Jasper ponders Conrad's deliberate friendly attitude.

Dwayne looked a little awkward, but he still lightly hugged Conrad and said in a polite tone, "Thank you for your concern, Mr. Monty. My feet are much better now."

"Then, much better means not fully healed yet." Conrad did not seem to realize how awkward Dwayne was. He finished his sentence with a smile and turned to say to Benjamin, "Remind me to send Dwayne a bottle of my ancient medicinal wine after this. It is the best remedy for rheumatism. Even my father drank it."

Benjamin said happily, "Alright, Mr. Monty. I'll make sure to remember."

"Going to business?" Conrad looked at Jasper meaningfully and said, "Of course, we should get straight to business."

As soon as Conrad said those words, Benjamin said sarcastically, "I wonder what sometimes comes to some people's heads. Just because he was lucky and earned money, he thought he had become the richest person in the country? He probably should look at himself in the mirror and see who he really is."

"Just because he had a little money, he thought he could put his finger in everything? Be careful, 'cause you might not even know how you got killed."

Benjamin looked at Jasper as he said those words, sneering. "I'm talking about you, Jasper Laine. I really wonder what's going on inside your head. Why are you even holding this shareholder meeting? Just so you can be humiliated?"

"Does that have anything to do with you?" ask Jasper.

Benjamin said in disdain, "That has nothing to do with me, of course. Mr. Monty is a very understanding man. Since you are so anxious to be humiliated, I will reluctantly work with him to give you a decent humiliation."

"You're holding a shareholder meeting just because you bought some stock in the stock market? How funny! The stock you hold is just enough to do such a ngawur."

"Are you ashamed and angry that you failed to get Skyward Aluminum after announcing it? Ha ha."

Henry was most annoyed when someone was acting too complacent in front of him.

He threw a sideways glance at her immediately.

"Did you hear a dog barking? Shit, I think only bosses have the right to speak here, don't you think? You're just a fucking employee. Who do you think you are?"

"You!" Even though Benjamin was furious, he still panicked when he saw Henry's sinister expression that seemed to be waiting for him to go berserk.

As soon as he panicked, Henry cut him off and spoke first.

"You what? I'll drag you down the sinkhole and throw you in if you keep looking at me with those pompous eyes. Just look at it later!"

Henry's words left over a dozen people in the conference room dumbfounded.
