Julian opened the door and the Combe brothers bowed to Julian with smiling faces.
As the second generation of a wealthy family, they were well aware that it was easy to meet the master but the assistant beside the master would be difficult to deal with. If they offended Julian, this Jasper bodyguard could easily speak ill of them in front of Jasper from time to time. That would be the worst case they would regret.
"Come in, Mr. Laine is waiting for you."
Julian said it calmly and did not bother the two of them.
Hector and Jacob did not dare to waste a single second of time and ran into the waiting room. They stood politely in front of Jasper and asked, "It's nice to meet you, Mr. Laine."
Jasper turned around and looked at the two brothers. "I haven't seen them in days. They don't seem to be different but their attitudes have changed drastically."
"They suddenly have a desire to live now.
"Are you guys so scared of me?" jasper said playfully.
Hector smiled awkwardly and said, "To be honest, Mr. Laine, we're a little scared."
Hector also added better, "Before, we brothers, especially me, did not know our standing and offended you, Mr. Laine. Fortunately, Mr. Laine was generous enough to forgive us and set us free. Now that we see you again, we're feeling a little scared."
Jasper smiled but did not doubt the sincerity of the two brothers.
"That's fine. As children of a wealthy family, you have a set target high and are able to trample on others with the authority of your family background, but also because of this you will feel more afraid than ordinary people. You'll even be able to see things better."
"I have a little request to ask from you two. I believe you'll be able to finish it right."
After listening to Jasper's comments, both Hector and Jacob felt both happy and sad.
They were happy because they could get on Jasper's good side. Regardless of the consequences for themselves or their families, it must be a good thing.
At the same time, they were sad that Jasper had asked them to help him. "Regardless of how small the help is, I don't think it'll really be a small favor?"
Given Jasper's abilities, they no longer dared to be suspicious of him.
Hector and his brother were worried. After hesitating for a long time, Jacob as the older brother who led and spoke, "Please mention your request, Mr. Laine. As long as it's within our capabilities, our brothers will definitely settle this matter for you."
Jasper sat on the sofa and pointed in the opposite direction, gesturing for Hector and Jacob to sit down.
Jasper asked as he looked at Hector, "Do you guys know how to gamble?"
Hector dumbfounded. Unknowingly, he nodded. "I know a little bit about the game."
"Do you know how to organize a gambling event?" ask Jasper.
Hector reacted to his words. Jasper wants him to set up a gambling event to trap others.
Regarding the matter of organizing others, as long as one had spent enough time gambling, they would realize it as well. "As long as it involves gambling, there will definitely be arrangements."
It all depends on how big the banker bets and tactics are.
"I'm ready!" Hector said viciously with gritted teeth.
Jasper flicked his finger and Julian walked over while showing a copy of the document. From the documents, he took out a piece of information and threw it at the coffee table in the middle of the three people.
That information sheet is Sebastian's biodata with his photo on it.
While glancing at Sebastian's name and photo, Jacob and Hector's pupils instantly shrank.
"Your uncle will be the target of the arrangement this time," Jasper said calmly.
Hearing Jasper show their relationship made Hector reply with a bitter smile, "Master Laine, I wonder what my uncle has done by offending you? Can I apologize to you on his behalf?"
Jasper raised his hand to stop Hector from speaking and replied calmly, "It's not a matter of me being offended. But something to do with revenge, involving one's life. You can't be the intermediary for this. The same goes for your father, Hendrik Combe."
Hearing these comments made Hector and Jacob look at each other. Both of them felt a chill crawl through their backbones, all the way to the depths of their souls.
