Jasper remained silent as he watched Zayden angrily coax Terence.
Jasper's relationship with Terence was very bad and there was no point in trying to persuade him.
Not when Jasper's found someone who's gonna do it for him.
As Zayden finished speaking, the door was slammed open and a large group of uniformed officers entered the house.
Leading them was a middle-aged man with jaws and firm features.
"Control the scene!"
Under the orders of Captain Vaughn, Zayden, Terence, and Sirius were each surrounded by four to five officers.
Zayden immediately began to wriggle loudly. "What are you doing?! I'm an honorable citizen, what right do you have to arrest me?"
Captain Vaughn frowned and replied, "We will decide whether you are a respectable citizen or not, all you need to do now is cooperate with us."
Zayden sneering. "You have to bring evidence and tell me your reasons first if you want me to cooperate, where's the evidence, huh? what's your excuse, hm?"
Captain Vaughn looked at Jasper.
Jasper furrowed his brows lightly and spoke, "Please bring old man Terence Laine in, Captain Vaughn."
Captain Vaughn nodded and turned to give the order, then, Darrel and his parents entered the apartment.
Honey began to cry as her gaze fell on Terence, dropping her son, she beat and scolded him, "How can you disappoint me like this? is it because I am spoiling you too much? how did you get into so much trouble? what am I supposed to do now?"
Terence had been going through the past few hours with increased anxiety, while the arrival of his parents shocked him, his eyes now flushed with embarrassment and fear.
Darrel walked up to Jasper and whispered, "Father and Mother have agreed to persuade Terence."
"Captain Vaughn, can you give Terence and his parents the privacy to speak?" ask Jasper.
Captain Vaughn thought about it and replied, "It doesn't matter, but my people have to stand at the door following protocol."
Jasper smile. "Of course."
Watching Terence and his parents enter his room, Zayden felt his fear skyrocket to the extreme.
"What are you trying to do this time, Jasper?!" Zayden glared at Jasper, overwhelmed with fear and anxiety that threatened to drown him.
"Captain Vaughn."
Ignoring the currently agitated Zayden, Jasper turned to tell Captain Vaughn, "This is the real mastermind behind the fire, please be careful."
Captain Vaughn smiled and waved his hand, secretly ordering the officers around Zayden to grab his hands and handcuff him.
Zayden snapped, "What are you doing? do you know who I am?! how dare you handcuff me?"
Realizing that the current situation was already out of his control, Sirius gathered the courage to come forward and spoke, "You're breaking the rules now, Jasper."
"Rules?" Jasper turned to look at Sirius with a curious look. "You're the head of the Hanks family, right? I wonder what Zayden promised you, how did you involve yourself in this as well?"
"But nothing matters now, while this rule you're talking about, I wonder whose rules you're following here? are those rules yours? or hers?"
Jasper pointed at Sirius and then at Zayden as he spoke.
He then pointed his finger to point at his own nose. "I just follow my own rules, meaning whoever dares to try and mess with me should be ready to be messed up by me."
