Erik looked at Henry's grin and felt his chest would explode.
"This is Swallow's capital, Henry Law! you're at the Turner family residence! not in Harbor City or Law's house! you better show my father some respect!" Erik rampaging.
"How am I disrespectful?" Henry curled his lips and stretched himself, saying, "That's because I'm the one relaxing, what's the matter? no like?"
Crick... Erik couldn't wait to punch Erik's annoying face this time.
Erik's face flushed red with anger and annoyance, it was very difficult to endure it.
Henry grew even more excited when he saw Erik's expression, "Hey, Mr Turner, your skin is so red, it seems like your mood has been good lately?"
Those words sound so familiar.
Erik said something similar to him last night, a little over ten hours ago.
This alone made Erik feel as if his anger had burned the last bit of sanity remaining.
"The Turner family isn't someone you can insult, do you think we'll accept your invitation just because you sent it to us? I'm gonna kick you out!"
After hearing Erik's words, Henry sneered and said, "You really don't have a brain, can you see the name written on the letter before you speak?"
Brad's opening the invitation now.
[Brother Jason Turner, it's been more than a decade since we last met and I can't wait to see you again, today I'm specifically inviting you, Brother Jason, as well as your good nephew Brad and your grandson Erik for dinner together at six p.m., at the Imperial Ballroom, InterContinental Hotel, Capital of Swallow]
[Our respect, Tom Law and Jasper Laine.]
When Brad saw the invitation, his face became tense.
Jason Turner is Old Man Turner's name.
Tom Law is the name of Old Man Law.
This is an invitation letter from Old Man Law inviting Old Man Turner to the banquet.
Brad had no right or guts to refuse such a big invitation, let alone Erik.
What annoyed Brad the most was that next to Old Man Law's name was Jasper Laine.
Represent what his name is?
That meant Old Man Law had pushed Jasper to a much higher level than Brad.
Erik walked over to look at the invitation, and a single glance was enough to turn his complexion more terrifying than if he swallowed iron.
He was shocked, even horrified, by the fact that Jasper's name could be next to Law's Old Man's, at least if Henry's name appeared here, he wouldn't feel as conflicted as he is today.
There was another thing that was difficult to accept - a banquet was held in the Imperial ballroom, the Inter Continental Hotel!
This is where Jasper humiliated him last night.
Did Jasper pick his location, perhaps?
To humiliate him intentionally?!
However, Erik knew that neither he nor his father had the right to refuse this invitation, hence he had no choice but to endure Henry's arrogance.
Clenching his fists, Erik glared at Henry bitterly, no one knew what he was thinking.
"I will accept this invitation and tell my father immediately, please send my greetings to Old Man Law, Henry," Brad said calmly, closing the invitation, his expression returning to normal.
Henry chuckled and said, "Sure, I will definitely send your regards, Uncle Turner, since I've already sent you an invitation, I'll leave now."
Then, Henry stood up and walked casually towards the door, as he walked past Erik, he suddenly stopped in his tracks.
Henry leaned closer to Erik and smiled, saying, "Idiot, wait and see, I'll finish you off! aren't you very proud of yourself? come on, call our parents and see whose parents are cooler!"
"Old Sister Turner may be very strong, but you're not her only grandchild, my grandfather only has one grandchild, how can you compare to me? silly"
After which, Henry walked away laughing boisterously.
Erik suddenly paled, unable to contain his anger anymore, he smashed his fist into the coffee table.
With a thud, Erik's fist bled like a flowing river, the pain numbed his nerves, and his gaze grew even more bitter.
"I can't accept this, Dad!" Erik roaring.
Brad looked just as pouting, reprimanding him, "If you can't even stand this, how can you achieve great things in the future? if you have something to say, then we'll talk after this dinner, don't say anything, don't do anything just look around!"
At night at the InterContinental Hotel in Swallow.
A Mercedes-Benz slowly pulled over in front of the hotel lobby, immediately, a waiter ran forward and opened the door respectfully.
Disembarking from the car are Norman Gardner's family and Lan Hull, Ben not present today as he is still hospitalized.
"Sorry sir, the InterContinental Hotel has been booked today, have you made a reservation? have you received our call?" the waiter said politely.
Norman frowned, he who had been agitated for a day after receiving the invitation, becoming puzzled, "Is there a mistake? the invitation states that the dinner is held here, in the Imperial Ballroom"
The waiter was pushed away by the manager before he could speak.
"It looks like you are an honored guest coming to attend the banquet, come in, Mr. Laine has booked the entire hotel today so that we can serve you well."
Under the almost flattering and obedient behavior of the manager, Norman and his group entered the hotel feeling quite confused.
Although Norman and the others were also from wealthy families, they were only in charge of a branch of the Haddock chamber of commerce, although they were capable, there was no way they could manipulate their way to the Swallow Capital.
What's more, a large and well-known hotel like the InterContinental Hotel may choose to ignore them entirely.
They have never been so respectfully received by an InterContinental Hotel manager before.
"Who are you saying? Mr Laine?" Lisa's heart stiffened as she held the manager and asked.
The manager nodded and said, "Yes, don't you know that already? Mr. Jasper Laine booked the entire hotel."
The group had already arrived at the lobby by now, before they could express their astonishment at the fact that Jasper had booked the entire InterContinental Hotel, which he had, they were already greatly shocked by the more than ten beautiful maids who stood respectfully on both sides waiting to serve them.
Lisa stared blankly at the huge scene before her eyes, even though she herself was a wealthy heiress, she had never seen such a grand sight at the InterContinental Hotel.
