Henry felt his scalp numb. "Why is Jasper here?"
Jasper was the one who faced the Combe brothers!
Henry did not jump in shock upon seeing Jasper, but almost did.
His first thought was a reflection of how there were so many coincidences in the world.
Henry wanted to speak, but he saw the gaze Jasper gave him.
With a gulp, Henry forced the words on the tip of his tongue into his throat.
Jasper was stunned when he saw Henry as well.
The only difference between them is that Jasper reacts faster and gives Henry a warning look when he realizes that Henry is the honored guest the two brothers mentioned earlier. He hinted to Henry not to reveal their relationship.
If that honored guest was someone else, then Jasper might have to put in a lot of effort on this.
But luck seems to be on his side when Henry comes in. Jasper could not help feeling that Heaven wanted to teach the Combe brothers a lesson tonight.
The tacit communication between Henry and Jasper goes unnoticed by Jacob and Hector.
"What's up, Mr Law?" Jacob asked carefully.
Henry looked at Jacob with the strangest gaze and pointed at Jasper. "This is the guy you're dealing with?"
Jacob's heart stopped hearing the question and he subconsciously nodded. "Yes." Yeah."
"Great work!"
Henry laughed happily and gave Jacob a thumbs up.
Henry meant. He was impressed by Jacob at the time.
Of all the people who were bullied, he chose the most unfortunate of all. Henry glanced at Jacob, realizing that he was indeed an ordinary human being. Why was he so impatient with death?
Either Mitch or Zane alone was more than enough to completely defeat Jacob.
Facing Henry's praise and the big thumbs in front of him, Jacob felt something was amiss.
Jacob's heart shuddered as he recalled how Henry stared at Jasper for a long time outside his previous door and he asked cautiously, "Do you recognize him, Mr Law?"
Blood dried from Jacob's face in fear. He's totally screwed up if Jasper turns out to be Henry's friend
It was like selling a coffin in front of Hades himself.
Henry sneered and glanced at Jasper. Seeing how the latter had not reacted, Henry knew that Jasper would start deceiving people again.
There was no reason for him to dampen Jasper's pleasure because past tragic experiences had taught him that he would be the only one to suffer in the end
"No, not at all."
Henry replied with a fake smile and moved to sit on the sofa loudly. Crossing his legs, he pretended not to know Jasper at all.
Jacob's heart calmed down again at Henry's actions. He inwardly mocked himself for being afraid. He almost surprised himself.
"To be exact, who is Jasper? How does a man like him get to know Mr Law?"
"One is a divine being, and the other is the dirt of the earth!"
"There is absolutely no reason for these two paths to cross each other."
With a calm heart, Jacob glanced at the cynical Jasper and grinned. "I'll give you a chance to beg for mercy, Jasper. How's it?"
Jasper glanced at Jacob calmly and replied in an unfazed tone, "Oh? Didn't you say you were gonna kill me?"
Jacob laughed loudly and looked at Hector
Hector sneered and walked towards the coffee table in front of Jasper, putting his foot on it. Pointing to the space between his legs, he sneered and spoke, "Creep between my legs and my brother and I will give you a chance to beg for mercy."
