Jasper doesn't entertain people who think the world revolves around them just because their status is higher.
Jasper had just finished speaking when the meeting room door was pushed open and a middle-aged man entered the room with two other staff behind him.
The middle-aged man leading them was Jon Foxx, the man the boss had sent over to check the guest list.
"For such a young man, you're really grumpy, Mr. Laine, what is this? I arrived on time and you're already so unhappy, who knows what you'd do if I were late?" Jon sneered at Jasper.
"Todd!"
Jasper suddenly frowned and shouted.
Ted was the name of Easy Media's vice president, the man was wiping his sweat when Jasper called his name and to his surprise, he quickly replied, "Right, Mr. Laine!"
"Why is there an unknown outsider in the company meeting room?" Jasper asked calmly.
Ted's pupils constricted, and his skin paled, his eyes glanced at the angry Jon, he lamented inwardly and bitterly, he wondered why he should be caught in the crossfire.
"What are you saying, Jasper? I was the leader of the higher team sent to oversee the guest list, how dare you kick me out?!"
Jon pointed at Jasper as he roared, "Can you shoulder the responsibility if something goes wrong with the banquet?!"
Jasper smiled before he replied calmly, "Oh, so you are the one sent by the higher-ups to join the meeting, how am I supposed to know who you were when you just walked into the meeting room, and he suddenly started to rebuke me about emotions, without telling me who you are?"
Jon's gaze turned cold as he sneered, "Are you saying that I was wrong about temperament? don't think that since you are the host here you can ignore the wishes of the higher-ups, you are still too young to fight with them!"
Jasper simply replied, "I respect the higher-ups, I just don't like pretentious people."
"What did you say?!" Jon clenched his teeth.
As far as he was concerned, there was more to the fact that Easy Media was given the right to host the banquet, and Easy Media would not dare to go out of line either.
However, Jon had not expected to run out of words from Jasper's reprimand before he could begin.
At that thought, Jon's anger flared up.
"The company told you about the time and location of today's meeting three days ago, we also sent someone to pick you up and that was enough to honor, he said, yet you decided to take your own sweet time and be late, so tell me why I should wait for you?" Jasper asked calmly.
Jon replied coldly, "Can't there be a traffic jam?"
"certain." Jasper smiled and ignored him, turning to announce to everyone in the room, "Let's start."
With wide-eyed and speechless, Jon brought the other two employees with him inside, 'Jasper will only start the meeting while we are still standing at the door? he didn't even ask us to sit?'
"What does he think of me as, Jon Foxx?"
His face reddened in anger, Jon never respected employers considering he always found work with great people.
He has always been on the receiving end of the businessman's pleasantries, and he never finds himself at a loss as to whether he should enter the entrepreneur's conference room or not.
"You're crazy, Jasper Laine!"
Jon shouted furiously.
"Without me, whatever guest list you make is useless! they'll never be approved!"
"And what kind of influential guest can you invite? who do you think would entertain a rascal like you when it came to a banquet of this scale? you're gonna need an official to support you! you won't get a single guest present if you offend me, I'll let you know! you're just embarrassing yourself!"
