Chapter 304
Julian looked up to stare intently at Hector as he stepped on the mineral water bottle that bounced to the side of Jasper's leg.
All it takes is a word from Jasper and Julian will run upstairs to beat Hector.
"What'sthis? You brought a dog with you today?"
Hector scoffed at Julian's sharp gaze without a care.
Jasper gestured for Julian to calm down as he climbed the stairs to the second floor. Standing in front of Hector, he asked without being affected, "Is that all you have?"
Hector was angry with Jasper's carefree expression and smiled sadly. "Who are you putting on a strong face for? you won't even get a chance to cry later when I'm done with you!"
Jim was surprised when he witnessed how little Jasper was about to get soaked and he couldn't help but speak, "Take care of your words, Hector. Know your limits."
Hector just glanced at Jim coldly and sneered, "What makes you so impatient, old man?"
"Liet. You two, no, you three are going to die tonight!"
"You're not the only one who wants me dead, in line. Not like any of you ever got your wish fulfilled." Jasper laughed, though,
Hector narrowed his eyes and looked at Jasper with a grin. "Don't worry. I'll make sure you don't see the sunshine tomorrow."
"That's why people say that water flows deep in the capital Swallow. Don't think too much about yourself just because you're making a little money. Even the strongest and fiercest of them bow down to me here in the Swallow capital. How many lives do you think you have, to act so pretentious in front of me?"
Hector grinned as he finished speaking and turned to enter the largest private room,
Jim walked over and whispered to Jasper, "I have a bad feeling about this."
"It's okay" Jasper replied calmly. "I wonder what tricks he has."
Later, Jasper follows Hector to a private room.
Hector walked over and leaned over to whisper to the man who had some facial similarities to him. "He's here, Jacob."
Jacob looked up and saw Jasper entering the room with the other two behind him.
He smiled and walked over to stand in front of Jasper and Jim.
Jim's heart throbbed as he looked at Jacob. Of course, he knew the man. He was Hector's older brother, and three, not four times more trouble than his younger brother.
"Jim Yapp, right? I've heard your name. You've been working long enough in Swallow's capital, haven't you?"
Jacob smiled and continued to speak, "The business you're doing has no reason for you to provoke me, so why are you so impatient to get yourself killed?"
Hearing that, Jacob raised one leg and kicked Jim's stomach without warning
Jim screamed in pain and curled up as his arms hugged his stomach. Suffering was written all over his face.
However, Jacob showed no signs of stopping as he continued to speak coldly, "You can live a good healthy life, so why should you provoke my sister?"
He raised his hand to slap Jim.
As he raised his hand, Jasper grabbed his wrist with a death grip.
"You crossed the line!" said Jasper.
Jacob glared at Jasper coldly and released his hand while sneering. "Who do you think you are? Who are you to bother me with?"
Jasper ignored him and helped Jim stand up. The man took a cold breath from the pain. He asked kindly, "Are you okay, Uncle Yapp?"
