Victory in Life
Chapter 27

Dawson was surprised. He could see that Jasper believed in himself. She didn't seem to say it just to show her courtesy.

“Alright, grab a golf stick. Let's play one round.”

Wendy and Dawson have no idea that Jasper has often accompanied his bosses to golf before for business purposes. He did not dare to say that he had world-class goft skills, but he considered himself better than an amateur.

Jasper walked over to pick up a golf stick. The two then chatted cheerfully while walking towards the golf course.

With a cat following behind them, Wendy could not join in their conversation. He could only listen to what they were talking about.

He wanted Jasper to come to help his father. However, the two had not talked about business after meeting. They were just chatting about their personal insights about trivial matters. Wendy was overwhelmed with anxiety.

The weather today was pretty good with white clouds floating in the clear sky. The air is also cleaner and fresher than in the coming years. In addition, the golf course has an excellent environment. Jasper and Dawson were somewhat excited as they chatted and walked towards the field.

As they walk to the tee, Dawson, who acts as Jasper's senior, signals for him to start the round.

Jasper was hesitant. He grabs the stick he will use to hit the ball and slightly bends his knee. Holding tightly onto the handle of the golf stick, he turned around and hit the ball at once.

Dawson's eyes shone as he watched the white golf ball fly over the fairway and fall into the green where the hole was. “really accurate strike. You're a veteran,” he said.

“Sorry if I don't play well.”

After Jasper spoke, he walked towards the ball with Dawson.

“I heard from Wendy that you've made some investments. Why don't you just find a stable job? Risky to do business,” said Dawson in a relaxed tone.

Jasper's eyebrows are slightly curved. After going through the formalities with her, Dawson now began investigating the details.

This means he's got Dawson's initial approval. If their previous meeting and the subsequent conversation did not satisfy him, he might not face a situation like this.

They will most likely just have dinner together and return to their respective homes.

It's not necessary for Jasper to help Dawson Schuler and his company. He did this only because of Wendy.

Furthermore, Dawson is Wendy's father. It is very important to get his approval.

“Everything in life is at risk. Some risks are meaningless, but some are very beneficial. Although having a job remains good for stability, one will also be restricted. I like to earn money with my wits.”

Jasper patted his head.

“You're really confident.” Dawson chuckled without further comment.

“Dad, Japs very good,”wata Wendy weak.

He regretted not telling his father about Jasper's outstanding performance just because he thought to give him a surprise. If he told her< he wouldn't treat Jasper with such an attitude.

Dawson was a little disappointed by Wendy's behavior. His precious daughter whom he had raised and cherished for over 20 years was quick to side with others.

Examining Jasper from the point of view of his father-in-law, Dawson was a little dissatisfied with his confidence.

The company is now in a critical situation. If things don't change for the better, all he can do is make sure that the rest of Wendy's life is stable and prosperous.

Since Dawson was going to bequeath the money to Wendy, her husband could be unskilled and untalented. However, he should always be able to grant and treat Wendy well at all times.

“Uncle Schuler, I did not play in this round,” said Jasper. His words surprised everyone.

Dawson saw a golf ball that landed nearby. “Why not? The ball has three shots at most from the hole. You have a good chance,” he said.

Jasper pointed around them. “Although the distance is good, the environment is not very good. There is a sand pit on the left and a water barrier on the right. This is not a sight I can top,” he replied.

I had to take a risk to save the ball, so I wouldn't just dabble into unfamiliar territory. Once I realize a problem, I will choose to immediately stop the loss rather than force things to go on.

Wendy's heart jolted after hearing what Jasper said. He never expected Jasper to say something that perfectly represented the current status of the family company.

Dawson narrowed his eyes, the friendly expression and smile on his face disappeared instantly. It could be seen from his furious face!.

After Jasper revealed Dawson's flaws, the smile on Dawson's face gradually disappeared. His domineering attitude made his anger visible instantly.

“Young man, what do you mean? Do you want to test me?” Dawson asked in a cold voice.

“You are absolutely ..”

Dawson was so angry that he laughed out loud.”I, Dawson Schuler, have been through the joys and sorrows of working for the past few decades. I've been through more roads than you have. What makes you think that you have the right to remind me?”she asked.

Jasper told me everything at once. He even changed the way he spoke to Dawson.

Upon hearing what he said, shock and anger flashed across Dawson's face.

Although Schuler's GRup was really in a dire situation, only a few tips avoided the company knowing about it.

He hasn't even told Wendy (his own daughter), about this.

Furthermore, the higher-ups who knew of it were his close associates who had been by his side for decades.

They would never betray him.

How did this young man know?

"The biggest asset of Schuler Group is its supermarket chain because it holds most of the cash flow. However, someone tricked Mr. Schuler by telling him that he could help with the company's public recordkeeping."

"Therefore, the Schuler Group ousted the financial investment department. They withhold payments intended for suppliers and divest them in financial circles."

"The person who cheated you even asked you to vote for ownership over the assets of the group's supermarket chain. He told you that it was to facilitate the review of the group daftaa."

"According to the initial plan, that large cash flow will help you make a lot of money in the financial markets. However, his investment failed, resulting in a huge deficit. Funds can't be collected, so you have no choice but to owe their payment supplier."

"Even if the Schuler Group applies for a Bank loan, it will not pass the bank evaluation because the property rights of the group's most important supermarket chain assets have been removed from the group."

"If there is news of the funds being spread, the supplier will ask for payment to the Schuler Group after they find out. Meanwhile, the Schuler Group was unable to take his money. Therefore, you can only declare your bankruptcy to liquidate the assets."

"Mr Schuler, am I wrong?" Jasper asked as he looked straight into Dawson's eyes.

Dawson's facial expression darkened with every sentence Jasper spoke.

Unfortunately, Wendy is Dawson's daughter. From the expression on his father's face, he knew that what Jasper said was true.

Wendy's face was pale from shock. "Dad, did Jasp tell you the truth?!" he asked confused.

Dawson let out a long breath and nodded. "That's true .. but how do you know about that? These are all confidential information stored within the company" he said.

Of course, Jasper would not tell Dawson that after he committed suicide in the future, all was publicly known.

The man who set the trap uses the company listing as bait to trick Dawson into investing his funds into someone in the financial loop.

In history, he nearly swallowed all of the core assets of Schulker Group, even successfully claiming dozens of supermarket chains across the province. He is the biggest winner.

"It's a trap" Jasper said.

"The goal is to acquire the Schuler Group. Looking at him now, he will succeed" he added.

Dawson's facial expression was quite interesting.

He has experienced countless ups and downs in the business sector in recent decades.

He managed to become the richest man in the province.

Dawson Schuler is not an idiot.

He had considered all the risks before starting his actions.

Situation at hand ...

He had prepared himself for it long ago.

However, hearing Jasper say that it was a trap, Dawson could not admit it.

Once he admitted it, it meant that there was a problem with his abilities.
