"How much do you think you can help Jones get with 800,000 dollars, boy? don't talk big if you don't have the ability to support you, you'll have to pay the consequences for bluffing."
Jasper looked at Samuel and laughed. "You seem pretty sure that I can't help Kai regain his capital."
Samuel scoffed and pointed at the ashtray with more than ten cigarettes in it. "I'll eat an ashtray if you can do it."
Jasper spoke calmly, "I don't want you to eat this ashtray, how much did you lose last month, Kai?"
Kai replied shyly, "Here and there, I say a total of over six million."
"Do you want to gamble, Mr Ray?" Jasper narrowed his eyes slightly at Samuel's furious expression. "I lost six million and I have 800,000 dollars left of his capital in hand."
"If I manage to get these six million back for him today, you'll pay me the amount I managed to get, how about that?"
Samuel could not help but laugh. "Who do you think you are, boy? Do you think you can predict the future? Earning six million with 800,000 dollars, do I look like a fool or do you tell me that you print money for a living? You can't even get that kind of money and that fast from printing money!"
Jasper replied calmly, "Stop giving me all that crap, the more impossible it is, the more it benefits you, right?"
Samuel sneered. "Well, I'll bet then, but what if you can't do it?"
"Then I alone will pay those six million," Jasper replied calmly.
Samuel's expression turned cold as he stared at Jasper. "Where are you going to get those six million? how do I know that you're not just pretending to be rich, huh?"
Jasper's speechless.
"I can swear."
John suddenly spoke.
John looked at Samuel calmly. "As vice president of the ICBS branch in Tefa City, I can testify that Jasper is able to pay six million Somer Dollars, if problems arise, you are welcome to take money from me, is this a relief for you?"
Samuel pursed his lips in disdain and replied, "Since when have you had a voice in this matter, Jackson? you're just someone who lives on a paycheck, I can sell your whole family and I still won't make much money, who do you think you are?"
John blushed in shame. "I still have quite a lot of contact here in Tefa City, Six million is not a hard amount to borrow given my status here! Don't underestimate me, Samuel Ray!"
Samuel scoffed and looked at Jasper. "These are the people you hang out with? How incredible are you?"
"Tell me what you want, but you think that I'm too scared if I say no, well then, we'll bet, this is only six million, I'll take it as a sign of your respect for me."
John's expression grew furious, and he almost asked Kai to throw Samuel out the door, but seeing how Jasper was betting with Samuel, he almost asked Kai, he had no other choice but to suppress his anger and watch the scene unfold.
"It's out of control, John," Kai nudged John and whispered.
John chuckled and whispered back, "What are you afraid of? did you forget how Jasper made himself famous by gambling the first time you met him at Royce Villa?"
Kai was puzzled for a moment, rethinking how Jasper turned things around as an underdog and won over Hugh, it was the start of Jasper's fame.
