"Oh, and Benny, about the celebration party for the approval of hosting the Olympics, our fathers must have attended as representatives of businessman Haddock. Did you tell Uncle to add you to the list of participants?" Lisa asked.
Ben took a breath. "It's a very high-scale banquet, and our fathers are only invited because they are the president and vice president of the Haddock Chamber of Commerce. I'm not at that level of importance yet, so my dad said he'd file it, but hopefully the results are good."
"I think we should go as long as there's a road, even if we're just going to sit in the back corner. Given the scale, everyone present was from a wealthy family. It's good we met some strong people here and there."
Ben looked even sadder when he heard Lisa's words. "Theoretically, yes, but this is still a high-class banquet and our status has not reached such a level. All we can do now is propose and see if destiny will be good to us or not."
"Or can I tell Mr Turner about it tonight at dinner? He may have a way of considering how powerful the Turner family is in the capital Swallow. It shouldn't be too hard for him to put our names on the present list, right?" Lisa advised.
Ben's gaze brightened as he nodded. "Yes, that sounds like a good idea. Good luck tonight, then!"
Lisa smiled confidently. "As long as Mr. Turner has a say in this, then I'm sure I can convince him to help us."
While taking Wendy to her class, Jasper becomes stressed.
"Don't interact too much with men, especially Ben. Don't get too close to him, and call me if he bothers you again."
After thinking about it, Jasper added, “Maybe I will make Julian come with you wherever you go. It has to work."
Wendy looked at Jasper desperately, and she immediately refused after realizing that many other classmates were looking at them with curiosity. "You're starting to act like my mom. I know how to protect myself, so don't worry, okay?"
"But I'm still gonna have Julian follow you. You go out and drive around all the time. You'll meet all kinds of people outside too."
Jasper smile. "Don't worry, as long as I don't actively provoke someone, no one will bother me here in the Swallow Capital. I'm safe for now."
Even if someone wanted to mess it up, they would not dare to do so now that Jasper was currently in charge of the celebration party. Everyone struggled to lick him and polish the man.
Nothing is more important than a party!
This is more than just a business gala, as it is an important event that will speak on behalf of the power of the country.
The higher-ups had told him yesterday about some important people whose presence had been confirmed, and Jasper felt his heart tremble in fear just by looking at their names.
Jasper himself was an extraordinary person, but these higher-ups had a formidable status. They were the ones Jasper had only seen on the news in his previous life.
Outsiders could not possibly imagine the true meaning of the banquet and how aristocratic it was.
"Then I'll go first. Call me if you need anything, okay?" Jasper speaking.
Wendy nodded. Suddenly remembering something, he asked, "Oh, Jasp? Can I bring some friends to your banquet? They're my best friends and they look forward to attending."
Fearing that it would put Jasper in a tough spot, Wendy backed off and said, "It's okay if they can't. I haven't told anyone about it so they don't know that you're the host."
Jasper smile. "It's okay. Give me a list of their names later and I'll add them to the present list. It's just some extra invitations, so don't worry about that."
"okay!'
Wendy smiled sweetly at Jasper. He was in an incredible mood considering how his girlfriend could easily handle the issue of invitations when the invitation to the banquet was something that the upper class was asked to accept outside.
