Victory in Life
Chapter 651

Jasper explained casually.

"Well, are you going to Coreana in a few days? Can you take me with you?" Henry grumbling.

"The theme park will be completed in two months, and the Southface River Project is almost complete as well by then. You should keep an eye on the amusement park and not go anywhere for two months." Jasper immediately refused Henry's request.

Henry himself knew that he had a duty to do, but he was used to rebelling so much that his habitual strength caused him to reject this little thing. However, he had no choice but to obey Jasper after hearing his displeasure.

The next day, Jasper meets Grant and his team at the hotel.

"Mr Laine, I'm sorry for being so forthright, but you're much younger than I imagined."

Grant, who is one of America's most famous architects, is over 60 years old. He had met many successful people, but they were all the same age as him.

Grant Morgan thought his mysterious order from the Eastern country came from a rich kid who came from a prestigious family. He had not expected Jasper to have built his kingdom from the ground up.

He sighed in admiration as he looked at Jasper, sincere respect and appreciation sparkling in his eyes.

Jasper smiled as he shook Grant's hand and said, "Master Morgan, thank you for your praise. I'm a big fan of the Sky Theater, the building in Sauof that you designed a while ago. In my opinion, you are the only architect who has managed to blend modernity with tradition among all the other world-famous architects."

People should praise each other. Grant was clearly pleased with Jasper's flattery as he said politely, "You're a very pleasant man, Mr. Laine. I think we'd be happy to work together."

Grant's facial expression turned serious as he said, "Mr Laine, what you want to design is the tallest building in the world. A building that is at least 630 feet tall will pose a huge challenge for any architect. It's not an easy feat."

"But the design cost of 1.2 billion US dollars is also not cheap, right? Furthermore, every architect dreams of designing the tallest building in the world. Don't you want to give your best for it, Mr Morgan?" Jasper asked while laughing lightly.

Grant had a joyous expression on his face as he said, "It's indeed tempting, which is why we rushed here last night. We will be doing a field trip this time. Are there any other special requests, Mr Laine?"

Jasper said calmly, "I won't have much time because I'll go to Coreana tomorrow. But I have one request. It's to do what you do best, Mr. Morgan. I want you to combine modernity and tradition. I want a skyscraper that's gonna wow the whole world."

Grant said in a probing tone, "This is a huge building that will require a lot of resources. Based on my team's experience, we estimate that it wouldn't have been possible without at least 15 billion Somer Dollars."

Jasper massaged his temple. Grant's statement has hit him in a painful spot.

He had calculated the amount of money needed to build the building, and 15 billion Someric Dollars was just a simple estimate. In his past life, the construction of the Waterhoof City Finance Tower has cost a total of 17 billion dollars, while Jasper estimates around 18 billion dollars.

This is only for the outer shell of the building. The tuned mass dampers that need to be used to reduce building vibration will cost two billion dollars.

The costs required to purchase equipment and equip buildings would require at least another seven billion dollars.

An investment that costs nearly 25 billion dollars is not something most people can follow. So, Jasper realized that he was running out of money!
