Against the World II: Transgression
Chapter 3: Nizivia, Vermyna, and the World Observer, part 3

Nizivia doesn't know who, and she can't feel it at all. To be sure, he was not hallucinating. The voice that asked in his head was very real. It was as if it came from itself.

“I'm the World Observer, but you can call me Lara.”

The voice attacked again, he introduced himself. Nizivia never knew someone named Lara who claimed to be the World Observer. Even he doubted if the one with the voice is “someone”. “Someone” will never claim to be the world's watchdog.

“I've been watching you since birth. Your magic, [Complete Sensory], is me giving. Nizivia von Clasta, leave your body to me, and I will fulfill your desire to see Vermyna die as sadistically as possible.”

...—...

“Infinity World is not perfect,” muttered Vermyna— who is still in a state of closed eyes— feels the highest spell collapsed. “...It's just a low-level imitation of my strength first.”

However, Vermyna was not too worried. Nizivia won't be able to reach her anytime soon. He incorporated the Infinity World dimension into one of his nine dimension clusters. Meanwhile, the nine dimensional clusters are in the central dimension. The clusters are connected like wormholes. If Nizivia destroys one cluster, it will automatically enter another cluster.

That is, Nizivia must destroy one by one of the nine dimensional clusters to be able to reach her. And the moment it was finished he did, assuming he was smart enough to find the dimensional boundary, Vermyna already had a sufficient amount of mana. He won't lose.

Even so, Vermyna had to praise Nizivia's strength. The way it uses life energy is impressive. He was like the sun in human form, touching him would destroy Vermyna. If he could do the thing he did with life energy, perhaps his former fight with Fie would not have ended tragically for him.

“At least, it will never teru-”

Pyaaaar!

“-lang la—huh?!”

One dimensional cluster was destroyed.

Pyaaaar!

Another dimension cluster was destroyed.

And one more.

And one more.

And again….

And, before Vermyna's eyes blinked after shock undermined her body, all of her dimension clusters shattered unceremoniously.

A petite woman floated before Vermyna who was sitting hovering in the lotus position. No doubt it was Nizivia, but her reddish-brown hair was interspersed with milky white manes. And so with one of his eyes. And most importantly.the feeling that Vermyna felt….

“Yaaa, long time no see, Vermyna Hermythys. You're not aging at all, but it's worth it.”

...—...

“Lara..World Observer,” says Vermyna with sharpening eyes. “I always wondered why [Complete Sensory] he was weak. Even if she was only human, Nizivia's self-perception should be able to penetrate through dimensions. …Seems like you purposely limited yourself in using [Complete Sensory].”

“Larazia, now I use this name.” Larazia. “You can call me Larazia.”

Vermyna.

Larazia smiled, saying, “Simple. To use [Complete Sensory] in full, a weak-bodied and soulless being like Nizivia needs to subdue me—World Observer.”

“So.” Vermyna stood—gravity does not exist in this dimension, standing in empty space is no longer an unusual thing here. “Lantas, you want to avenge the death of your former body?”

Larazia chuckled, before then chuckling in laughter. “I am not a vengeful,” he said as soon as the laughter subsided, “living and dying are just trivial things. It's just, I feel like my consciousness will be gone if you prey on Nizivia. After ‘mati’ that time, my consciousness returned to the moon. I felt something unusual when Nizivia went to moon—my consciousness was drawn into it. That's also the reason why I can control it like this without ritual.”

Larazia did not elaborate on her explanation any further; she believed Vermyna could deduce what she did not say.

“So apparently.” Vermyna nodded in understanding. “Lantas, you think you can beat me?”

“Hahahaha. Nope, no. I don't think I can beat you,” he said witfully, but suddenly his expression was serious. “I know I can beat you. Unlike the previous, Nizivia has things that Lasya and Lara do not have. This is the perfect body for me. Ah, unfortunately I can no longer use [True Mirror]—the magic has been owned by someone else. However, I still have [Holy Sand] and [Teleportation]. Instead, you don't have Hernandez to help you. And as Nizivia requests, ...today will be the last day of your existence.”

“How arrogant,” Vermyna murmured, her body clad in thick dark mana.

“Hearing an arrogant accusation from an arrogant person feels a bit strange. But, no problem at all. Come on, Vermyna Hermythys! Today the fight will change direction.”

...—...

Vermyna let out a long sigh—though he did not need to breathe.

In fact, the situation was not favorable for him. In the past, Lara did not have super speed. He does not control the energy of life. Now, Larazia not only had complete control over [Complete Sensory], her speed would be super once, and coupled with life energy….

“Khu-ku-ku,” Vermyna laughs like a psychopath, before then her expression turns into someone who is right at the highest limit of their emotions. “You think you can beat me? Amusingly. Let me show you!”

In the blink of an eye, Vermyna was already before Larazia with her right hand covered in dark purple energy. His hand pierced, trying to destroy the woman's heart. However, as soon as the hand covered in purple energy was about to touch the target, Nizivia was already behind it.

Vermyna was forced to reset space and time, returning everything to its original state.

However, Larazia was already before him with a swinging dagger. If it's Lara who used to be, Vermyna would certainly ignore—she can't touch him. However, Larazia's body was clad in life energy that formed a protective covering just like the surface of the sun—everything that touched it would be destroyed and vanish. Hence, Vermyna could only return her time to the past, making Larazia slash herself in the present.

At least, that's what should have happened. However, a slash had found itself on Vermyna's body. For the first time in her life, Vermyna's body was cut in two horizontally by another Fie.

“Usahamu free.” Larazia said casually. “Although you are in the past, but you are still in the same space. And even if you hide yourself in a different space and time, that space is inside this space. In the presence of [Complete Sensory], you cannot escape. Kneel down and beg for mercy, Vermyna, I may give you a painless death.”
