Chapter 46: Perfect and Imperfect, part 2
Lucifer felt a high enthusiasm imagining the fight he would have with the commander. The last time he felt this kind of enthusiasm was during an all-out fight with Luciel. And imagining what little universe it would be because of their fight made Lucifer's lips curl.
“Well, that's what I mean!” lucifer exclaimed as he suddenly felt a change in the aura of the commander, making his smile become a sneer. “Can I guess clearly the difference in your strength. My blood is boiling.”
“Oh, you like to fight apparently.” Xavier moved his head to the right and left, trying to get rid of the aches. “I happen to be too. Then what are you waiting for? Go, Lucifer. Let's see if you can only brag or be strong. Since you're Luciel's brother, I can make you an outlet for vexation.”
“You sure you're ready?” ask Lucifer back. “I don't mind waiting,” he added while releasing a wave of dark energy that destroyed everything around him.
“Heh!” Xavier also unleashed a wave of gray energy, making the collision of two different colored energies occur. “I'm more than ready. Even that question is more worth throwing at yourself.”
Lucifer couldn't be happier. Immediately after the impact of that energy disappeared, he immediately shot forward. He did not hold back at all. Of course he still hasn't pulled out his ace, but that doesn't mean he's holding back. Lucifer filled his lungs with air then released Dragon Breath which fused the [Eternal Zero] freezing energy and the [Complete Annihilation] destruction energy.
The target of Lucifer's attack suddenly vanished from sight. He was on both sides of Lucifer at the same time. Both Xavier had both turned both of his hands into lonsdaleite swords. And, Lucifer learns the commander did not teleport and uses a body multiplier. He rewrote reality.
If so—
Instantly both Xavier on either side disappeared, and at the same time the previously vanished Xavier from the face of Lucifer had reappeared.
—I just need to destroy this rewritten reality.
Lucifer's combined freezing and crushing energy hit Xavier's body, but the commander still had time to wrap his body with the thick life energy. Even with the combination of the two Supreme Magic, Lucifer could not penetrate the thick energy emitting heat. The density of Xavier's energy surpassed the density of the energy he was spraying; it explained why he was able to block Lucifer's attack.
Lucifer also coats the body with life energy and then floats the raw bogem when the burst of energy runs out.
His intuition that Edward Penumbra will be useful in the future is really on target. If he had let Mammon kill Edward in the past, he would not have inherited the skill of using the life energy that Edward painstakingly learned. He will be hurt if it comes to that.
Lucifer's punch avoided Xavier by tilting his head to the left. At the same time, the commander also unleashed his punch. Lucifer dodged the blow and countered it with another blow. But Xavier was also able to avoid it. They kept hitting each other and dodging like that for quite some time. Each of their punches unleashed a huge shockwave. The moon they were on had already begun to break.
Lucifer crashes when Xavier decides to bring his foot into the game. Kicks hard. Although he had already coated his body with life energy, Lucifer's left cheek skin seemed to be burning. This only shows one thing: the commander's control over his life energy is far beyond what he can do.
Lucifer landed his body on the shattered moon. He directly coated his body that was layered with life energy with the freezing energy of [Eternal Zero] and the destructive energy of [Complete Annihilation]. Lucifer combines these three energies to compensate for the commander's amazing control over his life energy. Then this former archangel hurtled straight at Xavier who was standing on another chunk of moon.
As his body sped up in super speed, Lucifer used [Reality Destruction] to try to destroy Xavier and all the realities he created to protect him from harm. All the realities that Xavier is hiding are gone, but Lucifer cannot obliterate Xavier's existence.
The power behind Xavier's big kick sent Lucifer flying. It slid rapidly before finally stopping after hitting a hill on the surface of the other moon. The hill was destroyed, but Lucifer was able to stand on both feet and without receiving a wound.
This former archangel instantly fused the two palms together and created a ball of combined energy from the three different energies. And as Xavier approached, the ball of energy was fired in laser form. The laser was larger than Lucifer's own body and shot much faster than sound.
Xavier crossed both hands blocking the energy Lucifer was firing. The amount of pressure released makes the commander encouraged. However, before he was pushed any further, the energy laser managed to deflect him. The deflected laser travels straight through the planet and penetrates past the other side of the planet. The explosion that emerged from the planet's vast core instantly pushed through the remaining nine moons and the floating fragments of the moon.
“Think of your other ability is [Reality Destruction],” said Xavier immediately after landing a dozen feet in front of Lucifer. “And that's really a shitty ability. It's as if you were created specifically to be an opponent for my [Reality Warping].”
“You're still not perfect to be a transcendental being, but why are you on the same level as me who's been transformed into a perfect transcendental being?”
Lucifer doesn't like what the question implies. Xavier is still not perfect, but he has been able to keep up with Lucifer. That is, if Xavier managed to become a transcendental being completely, he would be stronger than her. Lucifer disliked the situation, and he wasn't arrogant enough to refuse to admit it.
“Heh, you seriously asked that when you already knew the answer?” Xavier is not waiting for an answer. “Let's not waste time; I'll lose if this fight lasts longer.”
With both hands turned into lonsdaleite swords clad in life energy, the commander darted straight at Lucifer.
Lucifer flapped his wings, and instantly he was hundreds of meters above the surface of the moon which no longer had an orbit. He didn't just avoid it. Simultaneously with his darting into the air, the [Reality Destruction] he deployed to destroy the moon's core. And a big explosion was inevitable.
Lucifer crashed due to the shockwave, but the twelve pairs of wings instantly flapped and made his speed stop. The destruction of the moon made the air vanish, but it was not at all a problem for a creature of his caliber. It does not need air to breathe. The mana in his body circulates itself into a supplier of air into the lungs.
Did the explosion manage to minimally scratch his body? Lucifer wondered with his eyes looking intensely at the scene of the explosion.

life energy: The energy created when the soul merges with the body, the energy that also maintains the soul in the body. Life energy is fundamentally different from the soul. The non-material soul and the body are matter, while the life energy is not in between. [Complete Annihilation] destroys matter and non-matter, but not both.
