Against the World II: Transgression
Chapter 33: The Fall of the Dwarves, part 2

About two kilometers west of the city, Minner smiled widely from the top of a mound of land a dozen meters high.

His eyes did not even budge from a small spot in the Dwagnowa sky. He had been here since then, since one of his soldiers reported the pursuit of two flying objects in the sky of the dwarf capital. Although it had been modified, but Minner remembered his posture. The flying golem was unmistakably controlled by Khrometh.

“The empire is really brave,” praise Minner, satisfied with the action their allies did.

Lucard had already destroyed all the dangerous weapons the dwarves had. The combat power of the Dwarf Kingdom had actually decreased significantly. The dangerous thing from them now was only magic cannons. Even the numbers are no longer massive; they can handle it. The Dwarf Kingdom will be conquered.

“And it was the perfect opening attack. So perfect. What emperor gave the order?”

Yes or no, that's not an important question. What is clear is that Minner can now accelerate the attack. They were only about to storm later in the afternoon after they prepared a way to destroy the city walls. However, the attack from the golem just now had left a great destruction on the city.

“General Minner, the preparation of the vampire army is ready!” report Hecrust from below. “We are ready to tackle Order 9 Knight Templar at any time. The general can directly bring the main army round. We will join after Order 9 is completed handled.”

Hearing the report made the arch on Minner's lips widen. Immediately he jumped down from the top of a high mound of earth. “Major forces will get ready,” the response. “You can directly attack right now. We leave Order 9 to you.”

...* * *...

Khrometh cursed in annoyance. He did not take into account the effect of his golem attack perfectly. But what can be done; a destroyed building can always be rebuilt. Most importantly, the existence of enemy warships had already vanished. He did not know for sure if they were completely destroyed, but it made no sense that they could survive a massive scale attack like the one he had just fired.

Grunting, Khrometh returned to controlling the golem and took it swooping sharply down. He carried the golem at high speed. Before reaching a height of a hundred meters above the city, he made his golem maneuver upwards. Then it descended at a moderate and elegant speed.

“KHROOOOOOOMETH!”

The shrieking cries of anger came with the sound of destroyed buildings and panicked cries. There is no doubt who the screams are. The most temperament person in the entire Dwarf Kingdom there was only one: Gozilla Titanous Gazoa. There was no other assumption other than that giant-bodied dwarf.

And Khrometh is not at all afraid of him—or anyone else in the universe.

He stopped the mana supply for his golem and jumped out. Just as both of his legs landed on the brick road that was filled with the small rubble of buildings, dozens of heavily armed elite dwarves had surrounded him from various directions. Gozilla looked at him full of anger at a distance of twenty meters.

“You will pay for all the destruction you made!” his yell. There was not the slightest bit of respect the king had for the living legends of the dwarves. “I've had enough to let you do as you please all this time. Now there's no more. You will obey me, or please get away from my country.”

“You...you dare to expel me even though I just saved this city from total destruction?”

“Saving by destroying half of its upper construction, filling the city with building debris, and killing innocent dwarves?”

“You all would have perished if I had not intervened! You should bow down to me and thank me, Gozilla! You're a selfless king! Learn from your predecessors!”

“We all know who doesn't know ourselves here!” yelled back at Gozilla, but then he let out a long sigh and shook his head slowly. “And I did not cast you out, Khrometh. I only gave you two choices: obey me or get out of here. Please make your choice now.”

“Heh, how about I become the new king? The Dwarf Kingdom will become much more advanced and prosperous than under the leadership of a great body dwarf like you. Look at your elephant-sized body, do you still dare to consider yourself a dwarf? Really don't know yourself!”

“You! You are! You!”

“All of you, step aside! This is the affair between me and the old dwarf that doesn't know himself. You're all witnesses. I'll break his throat and stuff his disgusting big mouth with pig shit.”

“Hoh, dare you? Okay fine! Forward here! We're a one-on-one duel. If you want to die later, do not beg to forgive me.”

“Don't have a big mouth, Khrometh! Forward here! Fighting you with one finger is enough. Here go, old bangka!”

“You're advancing, shrimp brains! Superior beings like me don't need to start an attack.”

“Heh, are you scared? You're afraid you won't win if you start the attack first?”

“I, scared? In dreams! Attacking the king was the greatest offense that led to the death penalty. I'm not gonna fall into your trap, you idiot. Now go ahead, let's settle this fairly and in a male way!”

The two continued to throw mockery and ridicule without starting the attack. Though the soldiers have given enough space for them to beat. Protection has also been made so that no attacks target civilian homes. However, the two dwarves with significantly different heights did not attack.

The soldiers who were watching started throwing questions at each other: when will they start fighting? Do they have to wait until the sun is two?

Saint Petra was one of the spectators. However, he did not join them from the beginning. He has only been here less than three minutes. There is important information that he brings. He was forced to wait with the audience because he heard that the two dwarves who were swearing at each other wanted to finish the duel fairly.

However, right at the fifth minute of waiting and the two dwarves had yet to start the attack, Saint Petra let out a long sigh and prayed that the two dwarves could return to their wits. Finished praying he went straight to them while putting on the most serious expression he could put on.

“Sorry to interrupt your game. However, I think it's time for you to stop playing, Mr. Khrometh, Your Excellency Gozilla.”

Khrometh and Gozilla simultaneously allowed the voice owner a view.

“Your Majesty, I came to say that the enemies have started to make movements. I want His Majesty to make a total preparation. The 9th Order will do everything we can to confront them, but the enemy's fighting strength is considerable. Mr. Khrometh, if we can, we would also like Mr. Khrometh to finish off the enemy forces. With a special golem Sir, we'll have the upper hand.”

...—Headquarters Division 3, Nevada, Vermillion Empire—...

“Ma’am, emergency teleportation successfully. The reactor is stable! Explosion successfully we stop, Ma’am!”

“Ma’am, the ship in total suffered damage of 6 percent. The back is in a state of disrepair. We need repair if want to start operation back.”

“Ma’am, we should need to make a space protector for which reactor. The reactor is too sensitive. This will hinder the potential of the ship if it continues to be left.”

“Ma’am, less ship fighting strength. It is highly recommended to add four or five barier.”

“Ma’am, your command?”

Edelweiss took a deep breath. “Operation done!” yells. “You can rest. We will start the repair and modification of the ship in two hours.”
